As a Mancunian myself I fully understand how Slicker was more frustrated with that game. A lot of my non Manchester mates are always asking me to repeat myself even without noise cancelling headphones on.
Although not sure why it took Wolfy so long to get Matt Holland 😂
Been part of blue haven quietly laughing at all off that jenny's delusional ramblings but for some reason I'd had enough that I had to say something. I knew I had to be careful with what I said and try and get my point of view over without being kicked, clearly that is not possible as she kicked me and called me a plonker for saying she is a Paul Hurst fan not a Ipswich town fan
So after months of quietly sitting on the sidelines reading many positive and negative comments from many fans, I have finally reached a boiling point and need to speak my mind.
so I started the season full of optimism of a new manager new set up and a new era, we all hoped Hurst would bring that football we had yearned for. I accept Hurst was sacked for our poor start however I do feel he could have used the winter transfer to maybe help his cause then make a decision after that. But Evans made a choice and brought in Lambert which I quickly got behind as there is no point dwelling on what could have been.
I will admit I found it hard to read comments near the end of Hursts time with so much negativity coming from his reign that I opted to join the facebook group, Blue Heaven and at first it was a breath of fresh air not having to read negativity every week, but Hurst was sacked soon after joining and what had been an escape from negativity came the absolute delusion of the admin's worshipping of Hurst which I felt very irritating how someone could be so supportive of one manager and complete opposite of the next.
Now I fully believe Lambert is the right man to take us forward in LG 1 but it will depend on what happens in preseason. Will he be able to do business and get the players we so desperately need in or will we struggle to get transfers over the line and suffer once again. I remain hopeful that we can only go up from here, have our phoenix rising and rise from the ashes of what creped hole we have found ourselves in.
sorry for the long post but I needed to get this off my chest
I mean really calling for Hurst's head after 3 games stop being so pathetic.
Hurst is just as miffed of as us cause his players didn't turn up, a manager can only do so much it's up to the players to implement his tactics and instructions onto the field and they just didn't do that last night. Don't know wether it was fatigue or what I'm more leaning to, players don't see the benefits of a cup run.
Hurst has a lot of work on his hands to get this team on the same page has his so we may be in for a slug fest while he works out the kinks so as he has said all pre season. "Patience" is needed.
Knew he would, don't know why people were saying he wouldn't Hurst clearly rates him and sees the potential in him as was evident through pre season. Also I think he does see Sears as a striker rather than a winger just had no choice to play him on the left last week as ward was suspended
Just had a cheeky gander at the shrews forum see what they're saying and boy are they taking it badly. Had a little chuckle with some off the stuff that was being said. Hopefully we end up with Nolan and Nsiala just for the entertainment of shrews fans going into meltdown with us.
