| News Comment | McKenna: Important to Protect FA Cup Heritage Where Possible at 10:41:32
If you don't get the the pure excitement that would exist with Gloucester City drawing with Cheltenham away and bringing them back home, perhaps the FA cup isn't really for you. Or Bolton or Derby or Portsmouth. Go on, refresh your football soul, go to a 4th qualifying game, a local non league derby. Swop ends at half time, have a cup of tea for a £1 and chat with away fans during the game. Don't get taken in by the premier league with their massive squads. |

12 games played and a goal difference of 13. Few games have not been really tight but the incredible thing is to keep coming out on top, even if that is by the odd goal. It's going back a while but when we reached the prem before, the most common score line and lots of them, 2-1. |

If you look at the history of Bristol city, most deals were an undisclosed fee. It's the way Ashton chooses to operate. All the best to greg |

Bit of an odd one really. Not a position would have thought we were desperate to fill. Perhaps as above, maybe he won't play there. Does say something about our side that someone who has played a number of games in the Prem is not a shoe in. |
| News Comment | Blackburn and Middlesbrough Join Simms Chase at 15:27:39
Bit of a odd comment troyparrot. He was in the championship for years, not sure he has to prove anything apart from going to the next level. He is in many ways following what he did at Bristol city, pitch, ground etc. By the time he left Ashton Gate was almost unrecognisable. Their training facilities are superb. As for the trading, I wonder without Webster what the results would have been. He is very much a marmite figure though. Not quite sure why he attracted the stick for their failure to ever threaten. Don't think they ever made the play offs while he was there. |

How about a simple rule change to stop time wasting If it is not your team's goal kick, throw in, free kick, the other teams players cannot touch the ball unless the opinion of the referee they are helping to speed up the taking of the kick. Yellow card offence if they touch the ball unnecessarily. Simple, easy to police and will stop players cheating |

Unfortunately the Bristol rovers one is at home, think they drew 2 all away. Rovers form has dipped. Might be port vale away last game is second toughest. Totally get that sometimes a team or two at the bottom all of a sudden show top 6 form and win games no one expects. On paper, you wouldn't want Barnsley, derby and Peterborough away, all of which have plenty to play for. Plymouth are not facing that sort of quality but may be someone will pop up with an fgr type result. |
| News Comment | Pilgrims and Owls Drop Points at 16:31:36
Home crowds on the whole won't tolerate teams sitting back and defending a nil nil. I can see town being as successful if not more successful sway from home against the mid and lower table teams. Not surprised rovers got a result against Plymouth. Crowd seemed well up for that one. |
