Various odds on McCarthy 1/5, 1/6, 1/10 but Stan James has McCarthy at...1/16! (According to oddschecker) Other than that Holloway looks like the only other with a shout at 3/1 and 5/1! The bookies rarely get things wrong but all this means nowt until a contract is signed though, simple as that. It's like waiting for Christmas day when you were five! Hahaha! |

I don't want to jinx it but McCarthy/Burley/Curbs with Matt Holland as assistant would be the best news ITFC has had for a long long time. Can you please all keep fingers, toes and everything else crossed. Please. COYB |

Think he would be the right man at the right time although would not have been my first choice a few weeks back but the more I think about it the more it makes sense. We need a guy like him to come in and sort out the men from the boys so we can get back on track again. Just an opinion. |
| News Comment | Town Interview Shearer at 20:14:44
Wouldn't be my choice but would give him support if chosen. More worryingly for me is that I've been checking the latest odds and Gary Megson is now third fav behind Curbs and McCarthy so when you put that in the mix Shearer wouldn't be all that bad!!! Hahaha! |
| News Comment | Clegg: Long List of 34 Names at 18:29:25
Curbs and Matty Holland would do for me. However that just won't happen. Whoever it turns out to be though can we please, please support them even if it's not your personal choice. We need to get some positivity back to PR, it's been a long time since we've had that the reasons for which are justified of course! |
| News Comment | Hutchings: Jewell Still Town Boss at 23:21:20
Evening Star reported on the website that he had gone, then they took the story down! Anyway, would be surprised if he is still here come Sunday or Monday, although that should be that now, but then stranger things have happened! |
| News Comment | Evans Still Backing Jewell Despite Cardiff Defeat at 22:07:16
One important thing that nobody has said so far is that we are now no longer just a win away from getting out of the bottom three. That worries me. That worries me a lot. The fact that ME hasn't parted company with PJ suggests to me that, not only does he think that PJ has enough to get us out of the bottom three but then also take us on to the next step and beyond. Now that worries me even more!!! |
| News Comment | Clegg: Harry Speculation Laughable at 00:16:43
I'm one who likes to give the manager time, however I firmly believe that the time will come in the next couple of weeks where by a decision has to be made, if not sooner. I get frustrating by comments like "We are only 7 games in, give it time" etc. I believe that the frustration isn't purely based on those seven games so far, it's based on the PJ's whole term in charge, I mean we have hardly set the league alight have we. Couple that with Keane's time and that equates to why people are reacting in the way that they are. Yes, it is a difficult league and any team can find themselves mid table with half a dozen games to go and can sneak into the play offs but also get dragged into a relegation fight. I don't expect us to be challenging for the title when the season starts every year but I would like to think we should be there or there abouts the playoffs with a few games to go. I believe that if we were a team who performed to that level every season and played some decent footy then most real ITFC fans who be generally happy, even if we missed out on the play offs eventually? Clegg and Evans don't help and are part of the overall problem but they don't train the squad and it's not their job to get the players to perform. Either way it's a very difficult and horrible situation for all of us. |
| News Comment | New Kits Unveiled in April at 19:54:00
I don't mind how many times or how many kits a year they bring out a year, like most have said it's up to you if you buy it or decide if you can afford it. What I don't like as someone who spent 16 years in the retail trade including a spell in the club shop is the fact that they cost about £7 to £10 to make an adults shirt and retail at £45 which is about double the normal mark up for everyday clothes. However, it is what it is and does come down to either buy it and enjoy it or don't. |
