Biggest problem we have is that we don't work hard enough off the ball showing for players who.have no options but to give it the big hoof.
Jackson is good for about 7 goals a season, Norwood no service and sick note and we have no decent striker back up. We must recruit championship quality players otherwise the gulf in divisions will be too much.
Interesting times but we must go up next year so pressure on. Hope Cookie is the man but not convinced yet, worried about who we are being linked with

I think everyone has now made it abundantly clear that they do not want Mick Mcarthy to remain at the club. The atmosphere at home games must change now otherwise so much more damage will be done. Regardless of team selection and tactics for the rest of the home games the players must be supported.
When in possession there is hardly any movement off the ball with players making themselves available, when they are given it they have no options and will revert to hoofing it to take the pressure off. Cannot people see that the players are totally bereft of confidence as they are only greeted with derision when a mistake is made.
This will undoubtedly have an affect on Bart signing a new contract, on other good players wishing to remain at the club and also the possibility of a loan player making a deal permanent. It could also affect a new manager appointment.
So please support the players give them encouragement and don't do what you are accusing MM of and damage the club even further. |

Enjoyed the game very positive performance and light years away from some of the dross earlier in the season. Don't agree with the comments on Kenlock however I thought he done well. Bart has had all the plaudits this season but unless he comes off his line occasionally we will always be susceptible for the big lump up front, always stays rooted to the line.
Disappointing of course at the end but so many positives last night COYB |
