Like Green Army may I also be so bold as to advertise interest in a ticket if anyone was happy to sell? ta |
| News Comment | Town Rebuff Boro Murphy Bid Report at 13:27:48
Hampstead blue - I love Murph but my old man (a saints fan) would never forgive me if I let that one go -. 31, 21, 27, 15, 13 goals over 5 seasons hardly equates to "one good season"! |
| News Comment | Bart: Strike Pair Championship's Best at 12:40:58
With 'Dazzyl' Murphy in the form of his life McGoldrick will really need to step it up to compete. I still thinks he looks a bit unfit and I don't think his positioning in the recent 4-3-3s has really helped - against Huddersfield all three strikers were doing the same job and running into similar spaces. I think Dids is much better playing in the gap between midfield and the striker where he can drag defenders out of shape with his dribbling, play in the through balls and lash those long shots we all know he loves.. That's my two cents anyway.. |

Is it just me or does McG still not look like he's back at full fitness? Since the start of the season he seems to be largely ineffective in the last 20 mins of the game.. |

Thanks for the blog Luke, I agree with the direction of your argument but concerning Bajner, come on, he's only played two games! We do need a higher quality of strikers (and an attacking midfielder) but let's see with BB. Hopefully JM will improve with experience and I think Murph's gonna hit another level this season. That goal against Fulham was something new! As always the less said about Nouble the better... |

I was particularly impressed by Mings when he came on. Thought it might disrupt the back four but apart from one incident,he looked solid, reliable and even had a bit of footwork. |

I'm not sure where the blame should lie for the lack on crosses. I'm sure I remember ando saying in the past that muck requires him to play far more narrow a game than he's used to so it could be caused be micks team shaping. Anyhow, hope ando improves, he seems to have great character and worth having in the squad, if only for his fine beard. |
| News Comment | McCarthy: Millwall Deserved to Win at 19:53:08
This is ridiculous. Hyam's been criticised by fans on this site for ages, and as soon as he's off injured the teams gets lampooned for not being able to keep possession. Coincidence? And I wouldn't worry too much after today. We obviously had a bad day but performance-wise we were strong against QPR. The season's longer than the last couple of games. And for half of it we've been in the play offs. Lets have some long-vision! |

Considering Woody's creativity and that he got a goal in his first few games last season he is surely worth getting on the pitch! |

Cheers Pabbingtons. Nice piece btw - constructed opinion, fluid writing and strong sense of voice. Optimistic but not unrealistic - what we want to hear! |
