| News Comment | Gibbs Leaving Town as Last-Gasp Talks Break Down at 12:22:00
Only if you know this lad his heart will always be with Ipswich Understanding the process of what he gets offered and what he deserves is for him and his family I can tell you this family is not motivated in money but looking after their sons future as any of us would do. I for one hope he gets a good offer elsewhere learns at another club and then returns to Ipswich later in life to follow his dreams He has spent all his youth proving himself and has got all the time in the world for the academy staff If his 3 peaks charity walk does not show you what kind of person and family he comes from also remember his little donation along with other local young lads to the local hospital It's not all about him and money Good luck Gibbo always a blue |
| News Comment | Town Face Losing Gibbs as Premier League Clubs Hover at 17:18:29
Lot of our young u23 lads around need to be brought in to the mix, let them train around the new guys who are hungry and want success. Gibbs and others all showed in the games they were given a chance they are not afraid, remember him chasing down the defender against Crawley I believe and setting up the goal. Very clever with the ball and delivers a wonderful dead ball proven in u23 and u18 games. Hopefully the klugs and Dyers within the club can persuade the club to offer the right deal, please do not let these lads walk away |

Betty blue he was involved in the u18 semi final u18 play off game then was meant to play u23 game I'm sure if he was asked to play in 1st team he would of. He loves the club and many people within the club for what they have done for him to get him this far. He was thrown into a game last season by lambert, he needs a chance to play in a confident team not the team from last season. Hopefully the club will offer him the right deal to stay. |
| News Comment | Banished Duo Angered By Manager's Comments at 20:35:58
I question what our director of football has to say on this matter. Why is he not mediating and stepping in to stop all this poor behaviour and unwanted poor press brought on the club. Players need to be sat down with the club captain manager and everyone told what is expected going forwards and any matters like this will be dealt with without the whole world knowing. Dirty laundry should not be aired in public Pull together and earn your money and deliver the performances required by this club on and off the pitch. What worries me is why Lee o Niell has not stepped in yet as this is not a good model to demonstrate to all our youngsters at the club |
| News Comment | Town Quartet Make Donation to Local Hospital at 21:46:10
Fantastic effort by these young pros It's a great gesture to support your local hospital and 2 of the lads did something similar at Xmas Brett and Jack Liam and Tommy Have only just came into the professional ranks and to all 4 of you young men thank you for this gesture I know it will be appreciated as my wife is a front line nurse and the thought you have put into this is fantastic A credit to the club but even more to your families Well done lads |

Totally agree needs to be rules around youngsters being snapped up by the big clubs and then leaving them to rot in their vast ranks of players. Hopefully dyer will help educate the young ones to stay and learn their trade within this great club that has seen many great young players fulfill their dreams. As for Gibbs I have said before he is one for the future and he has a fantastic grounding. He is a fantastic prospect as is the young man beside him Alexander who have come through the age groups together. Mr Evans forget taking the pennies and let these lads be our future. |

Fantastic result and agree with the young lads coming through and being given the opportunity to play is a credit to the coaching staff and the boys themselves. Very determined young group with the likes of Gibbs Brown Alexander the future is bright. Just have to get these youngsters on deals and stop the big clubs coming in and taking them. |

| News Comment | U18s Win at Watford at 11:06:11
Gibbs is a natural talent who has a tremendous attitude and continues to learn at the club. Hopefully ME and everyone at the club will get him on a deal ASAP and secure him for the future. Looking at how the youngsters are coming through he could well be in there next season and looking forward to him developing even more. Watch this lad over the next few years |
| News Comment | U18s Defeated By Sky Blues at 21:14:55
Agreed Gibbs was unlucky with his efforts watched him end of season last year against spurs tried to play along the floor and naturally talented. On that day he played right across the midfield too. Hope we see him progress through the age groups into the first team one day |
