Good blog, but not sure how bothroyd and chopra would fit into the 4231 formation you propose, need to play 2 up front I reckon. Good shout though I hope we make a move as QPR hardly need him, they have loads of strikers. |

Looks class, and chips in with a few goals. Could be the commanding centre half we've missed since MaCauley left. Get it sorted Clegg! |
| News Comment | Smith at Left-Back at Doncaster at 15:12:31
Slightly off topic but just noticed we've scored the same number of goals as Reading this season, just conceded nearly double. Really shows the importance of a solid backline. |

Good blog, PR has been like a library for too long aside from the odd big game (like Arsenal last season), and you can only blame the stewards and all-seater stadia so far - look at teams like Stoke, who have a great atmosphere despite the dire football they serve up. The club need to get ticket prices to a sensible level, 20-25K fans at every match and we'll solve half the problem. |

Saffronblue, They're only in the bottom three after the points deduction and consequently losing all of their best players on loan deals. Before that they were above us in the table, and have conceded significantly less goals, so i would say they are better than what we already have. |
| News Comment | Jewell: Half-Time Rollocking Does The Trick Again at 13:10:51
I went to the game, first half terrible but the second half more than made up for it. People are saying we played badly but I was impressed with the grit and determination the players showed even when 2-0 down despite being the better team at the start of the second half. Edwards in particular stood out for me, his hard work on the right hand side set up most of our attacks and he made a couple of important tackles in our box at the end. Also big credit to Leadbitter, I'm not his biggest fan but it was a cooly taken penalty and a fantastic finish for his second. Oh and I can confirm the pitch was horrendous. |
| News Comment | Crawley Boss Evans Reveals Barnett Bids at 10:35:12
Was at the KC on saturday and Crawley looked very impressive against a pretty mediocre Hull side. They dominated the game and were pretty unlucky to only score one on the day. Barnett looked impressive, ran his socks off and had some good touches. Definitely able to hold his own at this level. Got to say also that Torres was their best player, and Tubbs took his goal very well. Would be happy to see any of them in blue and white though. |
| News Comment | Jewell Hails Second Half Comeback at 21:01:27
Absolutely fantastic second half, credit to PJ for the team talk at ht and the lads for a ballsy, passionate attacking display in the second half. Happiest I've been as a town fan since Ipswich 1-0 Arsenal last season. |
| News Comment | Jewell Hails Second Half Comeback at 21:04:59
Pretty good review. I'd like to know who those calling for Jewell's head would realistically prefer. It's no good getting rid if we can't find a better replacement. Bruce has been suggested, but I don't think he's good enough to move the club forward. |
| News Comment | Jewell Slams Big Name Players But Accepts Buck Stops With Him at 15:57:51
True that under Jewell we have a worse record than under Keane, but remember the circumstances: Keane spent an absolute fortune. He also inherited a half-decent squad (Remember Stead, Walters and Rhodes) whereas Jewell had bugger all to work with. That said, my patience is running out. |
| News Comment | Jewell Slams Big Name Players But Accepts Buck Stops With Him at 10:16:04
Beginning to see why we got some of these players so cheap. No desire, no heart, no pride. PJ said from day one that this was a long term project so why sign so many OAPs? Changing the manager every 5 minutes doesn't work for anyone, but Jewell needs to sort out his bloody transfer policy asap or he's out. |

Sign up Andrews in january and make him captain, at least he plays like he gives a toss. |

Entertaining blog as usual - Just one comment about the tips - Norwich for a point at Anfield? Really? Top work though. |
| News Comment | Jewell Undecided on Captain at 14:34:06
Good blog mate, I've been to a couple of Hull games as I'm at uni up there, including the one against Town last season (which was as bad as I've ever seen us play - thanks a bunch Keane). But the best match was against Norwich - when Nicky Barmby scored I cheered as loud as any Tigers fan. What I'm trying to say is that my first love is ITFC, but my second is football. For example, I'd temporarily 'support' any English team in the champions league, but that's not to say that I'm 'cheating' on Town. |
| News Comment | Jewell: Bullard Deal Just Can\'t Be Done at 14:53:12
Thanks for giving us something to cheer about in a dismal season Jimmy, but no player is worth 45K a week, especially in the championship. We move on. COYB |
