Why do we play a reserve team every year and lose every year to more lowly opposition? This changes the mood and puts pressure on the team right at the beginning of the season - momentum is king. . Why did we let half decent strikers leave like Norwood and Pigott before we have anyone better? We need a good striker desperately. |

If anyone is in Les Laurentides north of Montreal Canada on Saturday and knows a Bar where the game is playing… please tell me! Otherwise I will be dreaming of glory whilst humming the tune of that old Tom Jones classic “The green, green, grass of home.” My old home town looks the same As I step down from the train And there to meet me, is my mama and papa Down Portman Road I look, and there stands Bobby For the Town, he's always ready It's good to touch the green grass of, Portman Road Yes they'll all come to meet me Mick Mills and Butch, and course, the Beatty And once more I'll touch the green, green, grass, of home Then I awake and look around me, And I realise my North Stand seat is just a dream Cos I'm exiled in a land, where there's no real footy There's no club, no docks, no jewel on the Orwell No Suffolk sights that I know, oh so well I long to touch, the green, green, grass of home For there's no pie and beer there waiting At half time, when Murphy's been so devastating.. Until once more I touch, the green, green grass of home But you'll all come to meet me We'll be as one, and will win at Wembley And once more the Town will touch, the green, green, grass, of home Come on you Blues!! |

What price Curbishly? Fits perfectly with a club like ours and a great track record. He should have been appointed last time. Last time we went for the glamour and fame of Keane's name. This was a big mistake- now we need a man who can instill confidence in the club from the players, fans and from the whole Town. I'm not a fan of Clegg- seems a nice guy but doesn't appear to be a football man. I hope he gets it right this time or we could be in the wilderness for a generation. |
