Ipswich Town 3-0 MK Dons - Match Report
at 22:32:37

Harness' movements and link up play is something we haven't seen overly much of in a Ipswich shirt recent years. His forward thinking/understanding and his intensity is so satisfying to watch.
I remember I hoped/thought Nolan should be such a player but was wrong. At least it didn't happen.
This time I'm sure it's the real stuff.
Thanks to Ashton or others in recruitment for bringing back a style of play that's so easy on the eye and so thrilling to be a part of!
Earlier I was happy with just listening to BBCs coverage. (I live in Norway.) Now the football is so startling I have to watch every game on iFollow. COYB!!

Lambert: The Negativity Attached to the Club is Huge
at 10:37:30

ME is really bad, Lambert is worse, but our passing is worst. It puzzles me how our boys, professional footballers, constantly fail to get those passes right. Every attack breaks down due to this. Off course we can't score.

It has to be something with Marcu Evans. He's the only constant factor in this scenario with players so negatively clever and so frightened to make mistakes or whatever. Evereything goes so slowly that the opposition has time to build a wooden fence.
They never challenge or dribble - they just turn around and pass backwards or sideways. Lambert tells us we play well, but actually we don't. The neat play is always on our own half about 350 yds away from their goal. Run against them ! Dibble! Shoot ! Don't care about the consequences - or Marcus Evans staring eye.

The big difference with KVY compared to the others was that he had no fear. He drove forward with ball and made space for passes and runs. Or he took a shot.
Nolan and Judge are supposed to do the same but it seems they don't dare or they don't have the guts. Fear factor must be addressed. Has been a problem with Town recent years.
Curtis made the difference yesterday because he just did what ours didn't. Very frustrating!
I'm optimistic though. COYB!

If we only had one ore two that could put decent crosses in we would have won the last games easily. We are pretty good at coming round the flanks but our crosses are mostly awful.
Edwards is the worst of the worst, but todays game showed that there are others that have some difficulties too. Too low, too short or both. Kaydens cross to Norwood was excellent.
Otherwise its not too bad. COYB !!!!

Holy: I Don't Like Penalties, That Was Only My Second or Third Save Ever

So many other keepers or outplayers or whoever would have bragged immensely after such a heroic performance, but he keeps talking himself down. A rare quality in social media 2019. Great big man !

Ipswich Town 0-0 Wycombe Wanderers - Match Report

I think Lamberts rotation policy is due to his, sorry to say it, mediocre squad. Except Downes and KVY, and maybe Skuse, there havent been any consistent performers.
PL simply hasnt decides whos his best players are - because they havent shown him.
He has to rotate them to find out who can get a momentum. If he picks the same bunch regularly like MM did he'll miss opportunities. Remember how far out Donacien were.
If he hadnt been rotated/trusted he would have been gone. Suddenly he s one of our best ! As an example I personally think its hard to tell if Nolan and Edwards are good enough. Or Rowe. In glimpses yes, but to be completely trusted game after game ? Keep rotating till the right squad stands out ! COYB.

Within sports management there's a saying that I really am a believer in and it goes like this: “Facilitate the possibilities, not the result”
That's exactly what PL does now. And that was what I hated the most with MM. He didn't facilitate anything else than the result. A nil nil draw.
I love PL and the new look of our team. Nolan, Judge, Dozzell, Edwards, El Mizouni and others I don't know of probably. Go ITFC!

Ipswich Town 1-2 Reading - Match Report
at 22:31:22

Im full aware I might be a lunatic, but.. I live in Norway far from PR and the everyday life with my beloved club. My only relation to ITFC is through iFollow, BBC Radio Suffolk and EADT. Off course I've been to PR several times, but I still feel a little off. Maybe that explains my weird point of view, which I know will present:
I gladly take League One. I really don't care what league we're in as long as the football we play is watchable and entertaining. In my opinion there is no chance we can establish anything in Premier League in a long long time. Not with the owner we've got.
Maybe if all the planets are right for us three years in a row, which is severely unlikely, we can nick a midtable finish by hoof balling or disgraceful defense minded style of play. To play against blood trimmed teams picked from the solar system and beyond? With absolutely no chance of any possession? How fun is that ? Don't mention Leicester because that won't happen again.
Therefore it is as simple as this: Let's beat what's in front of us no matter who. Let's show them the 433 attacking Ipswich way and let's make it attractive to be a blue because of the football we play and entertainment factor we possess. People and players will notice and we slowly slowly attract the right types on and off the field. Marcus will enjoy it, the players and the press. Quality will gradually mount. And finally we're so damn good that Marcus will risk his fortune on us. He just can't resist it. And then we play Champions League and stamp our shiny boots on small canaries and the sun will shine on TV.

Wigan Athletic 1-1 Ipswich Town - Match Report

If we can keep Nolan, Edwards and Judge - and get our strikers going - I think we'll be perfectly fine in L1. I think Jackson, Harrison and Keane all have great potential.
Attractive football is better to be a part of than that awful hoofball tactic that kept us 'punching over our weight' for some years. Lets build from the ground and up instead of clinging to a level we're obviously not good enough for. COYB !!

Norwich City 3-0 Ipswich Town - Match Report
at 15:52:21

Imo the main problem is our defence and defensive midfield. Not only do they leak heavily and are prone to mistakes, but they are way to slow and inaccurate in their deliveries. People are moaning about a top goal scorer. The problem imo is that the ball is moved to slow from the back so that there is no space for any goal scorers to thrive the way we (don't) play. Because the ball is moved to slow the upper 1/3 gets crowded and we can't offer our forwards anything. Look how much space they created for Pukki. Quick precise passing from the back and oops he's alone with our keeper. He could have scored four. If Harrison had been provided anything near that he also would have scored a couple.
Let the good blokes Chambers and Skues go and rebuild something else. From League One unfortunately. Coyb!

I woke up this morning still disgusted after watching that dross on the telly yesterday night. A creeping thought rendered from sleep; we were victims of match-fixing!! How else is it possible to explain the captain's unexplainable pass ? Jeez magical vegas.

Updated - Marcus Evans Interview
at 08:12:00

Seems and sounds like the professional I thought he was. He knows how to say it, so to say. If its really him or just a sort of boardroom manner he's demonstrating is difficult to say. What I don't like is his very striking seriousness. The same I saw in Keane and also MM. Something calculated and dull and not exactly spontaneous. The worst thing about it is that it is expressed through the players on the pitch. They lack - or they lose - creativity and flare. A little less clevernessess, please. And make sure you get hold of a creative midfielder to feed smart passes through the middle. COYB!

I rather take a blow like this than nicking something out of a disastrous performance and then having to listen MM telling me that the lads were great and that it was a good game after all. Bad results like this will make things change to the better. Before or later. That's what the game is all about. COYB.

McCarthy: Draw a Fair Result
at 10:42:40

I can fully understand that Mick is unwilling to obey anything from someone shouting from the stands - or some as superanonymous as us commenting in here. Mr Blue or Blueboy or whatever appears very tall and dark in here when he thinks he's right(and Mick is wrong), but is completely gonners when Murphy scores 27 or Smith is MOM. Mick is good at losing and drawing. That's the most difficult part of the game. When we're winning again I hope alle the moaners will stand up.
