My god, you're an idiot. Gareth Bale? They're completely different players, their dribbling techniques are completely different. Martins run into the box against Cov was hardly "fantastic dribbling ability". You seem to make a point and then just argue against it in your next point. And Lee Martin didn't have much competition from Civelli as he was starting a year long injury.
You clearly enjoy writing dull stuff but it's absolutely terrible so please stop wasting your time and inflicting it onto the world. |

Good idea. Move him to a club that are playing well and with confidence where it won't be as high a step up for him. See how he copes with first team football and maybe give him a chance when he gets back.
Our fans seem to think that every striker that comes through our youth academy is going to be the next Wayne Rooney. If you have a look at all the 'next big wonderkid striker' to come out of our academy in recent years, only Darren Bent has proven to be good enough for a team above our level, and I think we developed him perfectly and sold him when he had no other choice and got the best deal we could have done considering our financial state.
We developed Wickham gradually and managaed to make potentially 12m off him. That's the same price Ronaldo went to Man U for at the same age and the same price that Ozil went to Real Madrid for after being one of the best players in the world cup. You can't argue that it was a good amount of money for him.
Apart from that, Rhodes (touchy subject), Haynes, Clarke, Knights, Bowditch, Naylor, Logan and Neil Midgeley have never proved themselves at an equal or higher level than Ipswich.
You think that it will be good for Murray to be put straight into our first team now with ten tonne of expectation and pressure on him to score goals in a team low on confidence? I suggest you get another hobby because football clearly isn't your forte. |

Diallo, horlock and currie played in the same team as bent and I dare say a lot of bents goals came from currie. We were in a terrible financial position then and we needed to accept the money for bent to keep us a float. We nearly won the league with a manager that only ever signed one player for a fee in three years. Ironically, that player probably cost us the title; despite being a very good player, currie distrupted our game style. It reminded me a lot of asprillas move to newcastle. |

It depends on how highly Jewell rates them and how well he thinks they will do for the club. If he thinks that they could be the difference between a chance of getting promoted and another season in mid table, I would be glad to see him given funds to booth the transfer to what is needed. If Jewell thinks there are others that could be available to do just as well, then move on and don't spend all summer chasing them. |

Rayman, King's goal scoring record is not second to none. He has an okay goal scoring record, I can name a LOT of players with a better one than him. He's not that good and I don't want somebody like that representing my football team. I don't think he should be allowed to play football to be honest. I'm also all for giving people who have served their time an opporunity to have a job, but there are millions of people in the country who would die to have the gift that he has as a footaller, and he abuses it. Despite what people say, being a footballer isn't just a job, you are a role model aswell. How the F.A can let somebody like that be play football and have kids see him as a role model is beyond me. |

I wouldn't mind either way. 8m pound for an unproven 17 year old is a lot of money, and we've had enough strikers come through the ranks who are the next "rooney, owen" etc fail. If we turned it down, we still have one of the highest thought of young players in English football. Win win situation. |
