Blues Legend Mariner Dies
at 12:41:47

Remember when he scored a hatrick against Man U in that 6 nil win in 1980? What a game we had that day. What a game he had

Boss Lambert and Assistant Taylor Leave Town
at 10:09:43

If TWTD is right, and much of the financial backing DOES come from a pension fund for the fire & police services, well I can't see that being a match made in heaven. Football investors need to be brave and adventurous - pension funds the complete opposite

Hull City 2-0 Ipswich Town - Match Report
at 17:39:41

Well folks, given the choice between a manager who was in his depth but playing unattractive football, or one who is clearly out of his depth at this level, which would you rather? People said 'Be Careful what you wish for'. Well many people wished for a change, and now we are reaping the results. Hold tight - it's going to be a very bumpy ride - and I don't see a good outcome, because there is little I see to feel encouraged about.

Hurst: We Showed Them Too Much Respect at Times
at 06:52:10

Here's some mathematical formula to consider: League One manager + League one players - the quality players we had last season = .....League One?
I Watched Harrison several times at Bristol Rovers (I live near the ground, member of ITFC SW supporters branch) and he was hopeless with them! I despaired when I saw we'd signed him.
I hope I'm wrong.

Hurst: Hard to Take as Performance Should Have Been Good Enough for Win
at 21:58:14

Jas 0999 is right. You take a League One manager, you get rid of the few quality Championship players we had from last year, bring in some League One players, we play two League One sides(from last year) and get 1 point. You see where I'm going with all this? If we're nor careful we'll get closer to League One than is comfortable

McCarthy: Game Hinged on Poor Penalty Decision
at 21:56:35

I can't quite remember ever being so down after a Town performance. It was just so...craft-less, joyless and with basic errors you wouldn't expect on a Sunday morning. Is it lack of confidence? Is Celina only allowed by the terms of his loan to only play a certain amount? Every time I watch, he gets about 10 minutes, yet looks the most creative force in the side. I came with 2 Arsenal supporters - at least they now realise that they have NOTHING to complain about, when they see how the other half lives.

McCarthy: They Were Better Than Us But Got a Helping Hand
at 08:42:32

They were quicker, won 90% of 2nd balls, and had more intensity. Defence did well, as they were under the cosh a lot, and I liked Iorfa. But there was just no creativity and the front players often surrounded by 3 QPR players with no options. So I was surprised it took MM till the 75th minute to bering on Celina. Before that it was pretty tough to watch #toolittletoolate

McCarthy Hopeful on Early January Addition
at 18:08:07

Please please please please PLEASE can we have a new manager. I'm not one of the ones who comes on here shouting the odds. But I have never disliked watching our team as much as I do now, never despaired as much as I do now. And NOTHING will change until the manager is changed. Why can the owner not see this?

Bristol City 2-0 Ipswich Town - Match Report
at 08:40:28

Living over in the west, I don't get to see the lads that often. So viewing them afresh this season, it's dismaying to see a team with a tradition of attractive football playing so much 'hit and hope' football. And this has to come down to the lack of quality amongst the team, as well as the coaching and the way the team is set up. McGoldrick looked different class compared to what was going on around him. I lost count of how many times he looked up and saw no movement around him. Nothing will change until a new manager is in place, and that has to happen before January. Sorry Mick - we don't like watching the way your team plays, and that's what matters at the end of the day
