| News Comment | Nsiala's Move to Fleetwood Confirmed at 12:05:00
No need for any negativity. He has been a good servant and always in my mind given 100%. Good move for Town and Toto so all the best |
| News Comment | Cook: I've Apologised to Pigott at 13:33:23
Agree we need to see more of JP, but with the form Bonne is in there is no question who starts at the moment. Hopefully given a god chance JP can show what he can do. One thing that struck me from the above is 'Jeffers does defensive set pieces'. Not trying to be negative but makes me wonder what experience he has in that area considering the type of player he was. I really do think a defensive coach is a priority |
| News Comment | Blues Eyeing Liverpool Youngster Kelleher at 17:25:59
Would always prefer a permanent signing, but I guess he is quite a way off the Liverpool first team, so maybe a 2 year loan deal (providing we go up) so he progresses as we do. |
| News Comment | Arsenal U21s Beat Crawley in Town's EFL Trophy Group at 08:47:17
Play the yoofs!! If they get through, then great and its all good experience for them. If they don't then not the worst thing with the fixture pileup mentioned above. we have a few weeks of sat-tue-sat coming up. COYB #100points100goals |
| News Comment | Town Sign Arsenal Defender McGuinness on Loan at 18:11:18
A signing that makes so much sense 1. The wages won't count 2. Was awesome against us 3. Donacien clearly not rated so Chambers RB until KVY returns. 4. With Chambers RB and Woolf out, we only had 2 fit first team CB's Well done to all for getting this done! Will be a good signing for us. Wouldn't be surprised if Donacien leaves before the end of the window, subject to KVY fitness that is. |
| News Comment | Former Irish International Ward Training With Town at 12:14:58
Don't mind this at all. Little experience to add to the back line and could help bring players like Kenlock, Clements and Smith on a bit. I don't think this would signal the end of the Garbutt pursuit either. Think we all saw last year that Garbutt was better further forward than at LB. As already mentioned though, wages and budgets will be key to either/both |
| News Comment | Waghorn: Town Move Worked Perfectly For Me at 12:04:41
Nice to see the internal feeling towards MM and what it was like in the dressing room. Clear the players liked him and you wonder how many left because of what happened that season; Waghorn, Garner, DMcG As much as I agree that it was getting time for a change, I do think its completely embarrassing how MM was treated towards the end. Yes, he didn't help himself, but fans waiting for him outside a ground and some of the chants were pathetic. Water under the bridge now. Onwards and (hopefully) upwards! COYB |
| News Comment | Former Lincoln Defender Wilson Training With Blues at 17:08:25
Appreciate where we are in terms of the level of player we can bring in due to finances but I have 2 comments on this: 1. There is surely better out there 2. If there isn't, would rather we gave more opportunity to Wolf and Ndaba I guess no harm in taking a look, but would be very concerned if our 'experienced' options were Chambo, Nsiala and Wilson. |
| News Comment | Lambert: I'll Be Here Next Season Unless Marcus Sacks Me at 17:09:22
All comments around results are a little unfair considering the mess which was inherited. Some believe that he has his own players now so should be improving but I have 2 arguments to that: 1. The style has most definitely improved (barring a couple of games) 2. He was never going to be able to sign top class players with where we were in the table. Honestly very excited about next season and this new direction of the club. |
| News Comment | McCarthy Has Sympathy With Town Players Facing Relegation Pay Cut at 10:02:44
I get that this is true but this is very unprofessional from McCarthy. Shouldn't really go speaking about other people's contracts and wage cuts that are nothing to do with him. He still has to get the ‘be careful what you wish for' jibe in as well. Pint of bitter please |
| News Comment | Ipswich Town 1-2 Reading - Match Report at 17:30:48
And that my friends is that. Fat lady is singing. Time for the rebuild to commence. Play the youth and get everything ready for next season. Get those who either don't want to be here or won't be here next season away from the squad. We're down but the future is bright. Start preparing now!! We support the Ipswich, when we're down and when we're up! |
