Speaking as a Hull City Supporter, I like Jimmy, he is a terrific player, gifted and enthusiastic. however due to an bad run of injuries he never really got a chance here.

He is on an incredibly over paid contract which is not his fault it is totally down to the poor and inept financial mismanagement we had to endure here under the last owners which brought our club to within days of financial ruin. As a result a sensible wage structure has been put in place by the new owners and we simply can't afford to pay Jimmy anymore as it would upset the current pay structure and cause disharmony in the squad. I hope he does come to you as I would love to see Jimmy playing at his best as he is great to watch and Ipswich seem to be getting the best out of him.

Due to the well documented financial mess we found ourselves in and Jimmy's unwillingness to take a pay cut in addition to the fact he was not playing because of injuries he rapidly turned from hero to villain.

A deal to send Jimmy to you would be great for all concerned, as long as you got his wage demands sorted, no wants wants to see any club in the sort of financial mess we were in.
