Have you tried this?
at 19:38 6 Apr 2013

This is quite many years old, so don´t know if it made it to England.
If you want to find out what your name would be if you played for Brazil follow this link... http://www.minimalsworld.net/BrazilName/brazilian.shtml

I would be Fredrâo. Attacking right back - just like in the old days!

Cheers

The Plan?
at 10:55 27 Sep 2012

Seeing events from a distance; I think we might have a plan after all. I know, some might find it hard to believe, but the signs are there. But because of the nature of the plan it is not something the club can go out and communicate - if they did players as well as supporters (known to be shortsighted) would scream til they fall out of their prams.

However this is what I think. This year is to dramatically lower the wage structure and to find the right players that we think can challange in the next 2-3 years to come. We are cleverly using the fact that other clubs appear to throw everything in one basket to win promotion this year before the rules of fair play becomes even more obvious. So next year when the clubs that didn´t make the promised land have to sell and get rid, we on the other hand might have som room for manouver, take players for cut prices, etc. So maybe this year is mainly to stay in this league, only to get players that are willing to come within the new wage structure, acommodate the new players. Maybe this is why the shortage of a new CB is not dealt with in panic, we would ideally want someone in the right age, but since the ones we wanted did not become available we felt that it is better to wait unit the window re-opens after new year and in the meentime have a look at some loanees mainly for cover in the short term, but if they prove themselves and are willing to come within our wage structure -than that only adds to our options.

I also want us to challenge this year, but if it happens in the next 2-3 years instead, that is fine too, as long as there is a plan...

Taster of what is to come???
at 22:00 31 Jan 2012

Fantastic performance tonight. Very pleasing and very well deserved!! Will sleep very well tonight.

Perhaps this season will not be the total waste as many have thought lately. I don´t think we will have much of a chance of the playoffs, but perhaps we will see JET, Martin and Cresswell establish themselves properly this season - maybe also Hyam and Drury (doing well now, but I am not sure about the quality they posses over time). We might also see Chopra come through a sticky patch and be more ready than for many years come next season. I still have hopes for Bullard, and that Carson signs his contract. If all the ifs fall in place our team is not far of something good.

A shame we couldn´t pull of Pearce (so it seems), but I am glad we are not buying for the sake of it and ending up with players that will not take us forward in the long term. We need defenders everybody knows it, and hopefully we can patch over with some loans for the reminder of the season. Loans are not ideal, but better than wasting money.

Now, maybe there will be some late transfer news to make this an even better evening.

Tomorrows twist

My guess is that the St:Ledger deal is back on. Heard somewhere that Leicester was about to sign another CB tomorrow. So SSL could be the twist...

CB Available?
at 20:04 23 Jan 2012

If Pompey have turned our second bid down, we need to show them that we have other 'irons in the fire'. One player that would be fantastic to bid for is Alexander Milosevic. 19 year old CB in Aik Solna (Sweden). He broke through last year and established himself in one of the better teams in Sweden, he is highly regarded and plays for Sweden U21:s. Apparently Werder Bremen have a CB-crisis and is trying to 'steel' him for only 1,2 million pounds. Would be nice to put in a higher bid and see how serious WB really are. We obviously can´t compeet if the bids are the same, unless ME and Jewell are really good at selling the club to him...
