not sure there were an 'abundance'' of chances in the first half. We can still do this though. Clear all three top teams feeling the pressure. |
| News Comment | McKenna: A Really Pleasing Performance at 22:06:30
The worst 'Away' end experience I have ever had. Anyone else still thawing out or queuing for a pie? Choruses of 'we are going to fall in a minute' would have been funny if the scaffolding wasn't shaking so much! The match more than made up for it though |
| News Comment | Penney: New Gaffer Has Given Us All a Lift at 00:04:30
The way that Penney can move up and down that left channel, especially last night, can only be a huge plus for Town. Having that ability to overlap and create chances is not something a lot of League 1 teams have. He is a great asset to the team, good on him. |
| News Comment | McCarthy Coy on Ireland Speculation at 22:44:10
Who really wants to manage Town? Year after year, getting worse and worse. Commit Mick, or go. If I played this game with my boss he would tell me to f**k off |
| News Comment | McCarthy Pleased With Point at 21:40:37
Into October and without an away win and the tough opening matches have long passed. It is not rocket science to see that we have defensive problems STILL. Come on somebody, ME with the cash or MM with the plan lets fix this old open wound. |
| News Comment | McCarthy: No Regrets at 03:03:37
Was at the game Saturday, we were poor in the second half and it sounds like we were poor again tonight. This side is a long way away from a top six finish. Too many fans seemed satisfied on Saturday with what was clearly a poor display. Must do better - unlikely we will finish higher than 12th to be honest if this is all we can muster. In 6 weeks time all hope will have faded. |
