I'm going to get in a muddle with my comments, but here goes. Pi$$ed off today for losing against that lot.First, if as most teams now play with one striker maybe another withdrawn, why do we need 4 defenders? A back 3 of Chambers. Smith and Berra,with Parr and Mings as wingbacks. And play at least 1 REAL winger. A midfield from Anderson/Stewart, Bru Bishop/McGoldrick Skuse Sears and Murphy.As much as I appreciate what MM has done PLEASE stop hoofball.The times Chambers Smith and Berra lump it up in hope just don't work. It loses possession . That's why we have a poor midfield Most of the time the ball is flying over their head!They are all shortish. It's called Football MM. |

I just want to reiterate the comments above,agree with Dissboy especially.I'm sure PJ worked as hard as any manager,and I thank him for that,and his scouse humour.Personally, I feel we have a very decent squad.Where PJ got it wrong was tactics.We need 2 up front and get rid of most of the loanees. |

Oh for f***s sake.Leave the man alone! He will be damned if he doesnt answer and equally if he does.The moaners will be proud that they got one over Jet if he ignores them..... Remember,last season was his 1st full season of senior footie,possibly playing in a new position to him.He is learning his game.What do you expect 25 goals and 30 assists..... So lets get behind the team and a bit of encouragement helps.

I dont post much,but you lot make me mad!What a lot of moronic comments on here about the abandonment.Yes, maybe the ref should have called it off at 11.00 or 2.00.It's nothing to do with PJ or Mr.Clegg.The ref is in charge of the match.The club has to sort out the admission price,which in the case of abandonments is as stated on the back of the ticket. Simples.I think 1 way around it is to call the re-match a ticket promotion again,and charge the same as Saturday.So we pay £20 to see a whole game,or £10 if you went to Saturdays.Yes, there are travelling costs etc,but it's not the clubs fault.If you book an August holiday in Spain and it rains every day,yes,We are pi**ed off, but thats the luck of the draw,I'm afraid.
As for those who want ITFC to spend spend spend,we are losing £10m a year? Conor was sold for an initial £8m. thats still losing £2m a year.Read what PJ and Clegg say about transfers.They do have a budget and I think it's right. Dont overspend. Maybe the Portsmouth lot wanted £20000 a week plus add ons!Yes, PJ has made mistakes,and admitted them,but he knows who he wants,the type of player he wants.I bet we dont know who, despite the hundreds of names thrown about by rumour,and guesswork.Give him time and support the Club,stop winging about little things and see the bigger picture for once.Yes, we need a CB and a GK. No everything isnt rosy in the garden,but I've seen it all here. My 1st game,incidentally was against Notts County in 1954/55 season...... |
