Can see your issue, but he's been a big part of the feelgood factor and raising Town's profile, as well as Ed Sheeran and I'm that Ed had been up there on the bus no one would've had any issues with that. |

Stoke at home. First one back at this level and when I realised that we were going to do OK. Although I never imagined how OK! Cardiff at home - that comeback! Blackburn at home. So exciting! Preston at home, which was the first time I believed we were in a promotion race. Southampton at home. That winner, the atmosphere! |

2.13 ppg last season. 2.08 ppg this season. Presuming therefore 2.03 ppg next season, that would give us 77/78 points. Not enough to trouble Manchester City, but probably enough for Champions League football. That would do I suppose. |

I thought I would be on WOTB, the Pinkun, Leeds's sites and all that gloating. But I am genuinely just enjoying how good this is for us, for the club, for the town, for Suffolk. How chuffed the uncle who took me to my first games but who we sadly lost a few years ago would be at this. And how wonderful it is that the last couple of seasons have coincided with my children being at the right age to enjoy it and how excited they were yesterday and still are as it dawns on them the players they might see firsthand next season, being on Match of the Day and all of that. I'm happy enough to enjoy that. |

Still if for me. That's not to say I don't have confidence in them, but I remember Maidstone and against Lincoln last season. We didn't do an awful lot wrong in those games but just couldn't get the ball in the net and then of course the opposition knock one in from their first attack. Hopefully we've got our shooting boots on tomorrow though. |
| Forum Reply | Is there any doubt that we won’t do it? at 19:39 1 May 2024
Yep. I know this team will prepare right, but I've got nightmare visions of us us having one of those games where we have 30 shots but can't the ball in the net and whilst our defence has been great we've seen plenty of times when the opposition get a goal against us with their first opportunity. Looking at it from outside it's irrational, everything is basically as perfectly set as it can be, but I guess we wouldn't be fans without nerves and those nerves come with the chance - however slim - that we don't do it. However, I trust in this team and I think if we can get a couple of first-half goals I can imagine this Huddersfield team laying down their tools and it being fairly relaxed. COYBs! |

I think the criticism of the booing last year has been harsh. The club were really adamant in their messaging that there shouldn't be a pitch invasion and the EFL and police seemed be sending out really strong messaging about it too, I think basically because there had been quite a few unsavoury incidents since the return of fans after the pandemic. I suppose some people were genuinely worried that having finally done it there might be some kind of sanction. As it happened, all completely unfounded of course, but I think people genuinely had the best wishes of the club at heart which is difficult to knock. |

We need a couple of goals early on and hopefully they'll just be going through the motions. But as we've seen tonight, nothing to play for doesn't necessarily equate to not turning up. |

And probably more on top of that. |
