Updated: McCarthy’s Future to Be Clarified "Well in Advance" of Early Bird Deadline
at 11:34:40

I can (just about) put up with MMs boring football and lack of entertainment - some of this is firmly at the door of ME and if it weren't for the rest of the MM "package", I'm sure that ME would be getting far more stick aimed at him as currently he can hide behind MM.
What I cannot stomach is the continued jibes at supporters at every opportunity and foul language used during public press conferences. It is unnecessary, not professional, not right, not clever, rude. Basically it is totally unacceptable for someone who publicly represents an organisation - and the main reason MM has to go.
We can reset what this Club is about. It will also remove the excuses and put ME in the firing line for the future (which could be the reason he decides to keep MM!).

McCarthy: Red Card Cost Us
at 10:16:02

Interesting views on here re the game. From what I saw:
- Apart from one time in the first half, when we had 11 on the ptich Fulham did not open us up like they did at PR
- The referee, and one lino, were poor. At least 4 free kick and corner decisions wrong and he lost the game as was evident from the players
- It WAS a foul on Sears. From behind, no way shoulder to shoulder. It was bookable
- The sending off was probably right - at least an "orange"
- Iorfa cannot defend. 2 of the goals were probably down to him losing sight of his man. Would have been better to put Connally at RB. Can't see what he offers above Emmanuel - we should be blooding our own player as back up to Spence
- We may have been better able to cope with 10 men if Ward had still been on the pitch. Sears really offered nothing in defence or attack other than "legs"

McCarthy: Berra is Going Nowhere in January
at 14:33:09

I heard this a few weeks back - before Lincoln so was surprised he was on the pitch then. I sort of assumed my source was wrong. Apparently it is his total attitude around the place, towards training - Lazy etc. Described to me as "not a nice person". Obviously a knee jerk desperate signing that we did not do our homework on re character beforehand.....

Berra: We've Got to Get Back to Keeping Clean Sheets
at 08:46:06

The thing is that it's not just us saying the same things about this team:

Terry Butcher said earlier in the season that there was nobody in the dressing room ready or willing to stand up to McCarthy and that, in his time, there were people even willing to challenge Sir Bobby, which was a good thing as it put "things on the table" for discussion. He said at the time that the current squad is full of "yes" men...

On Saturday I was told by a Steward that "one of our ex-pros" left the game with 15 mins to go and when asked about the match said it was "*** **** crap" and that we were outplayed football wise by a conference team and also that, in his view, "players are not playing for the manager anymore".

Isn't it interesting that people in the game are saying the same things as us?
