| News Comment | Hutchinson Recalled to Chelsea at 12:37:42
He’s already shown he’s potentially a massive talent and at 20 years old will certainly be costing close to the asking price. He’s firmly put himself in the shop window should Chelsea want to sell him. Personally, I think they’d be mad too. He’s a more assured and composed Sterling when he’s on the ball, nothing ghostly about his pace and balance! There’s no better coach currently across Europe for improving players in my opinion so I can see Chelsea allowing him back for another season. The only drawback, they’ll most certainly say he doesn’t feature in the fixtures against them. |
| News Comment | McKenna Joins in Park Tidy-Up at 17:02:07
10 years ago if we’d hoped for a manager and a club as we have now, it wouldn’t be realistic would it. This sort of suggestion would have been laughed at. So proud of every part of this club again and Kmc is setting standards all the way. |
| News Comment | McKenna: I Love It Here! at 19:02:12
Sir Bobby would be so proud of KMc. There are some very similar traits it seems, this may only yet be the beginning of a journey. Mark Ashton deserves huge recognition for unearthing and persuading this gem of a manager to come to Suffolk. This has been the most incredible Two years for our club. Thank you everyone from owners, players, club staff and even of course, the tea lady. |
| News Comment | Town Gallagher Interest "Significant" at 17:10:12
Whatever the conversations were, I’m very happy indeed we managed to get Big Kieffer back. Promotion or not, I hope a deal can be done to secure him for next season. |
| News Comment | Röhl: Big, Big Difference at 15:06:40
Michael 101: “we could a lot worse”? His team have just been ripped apart with an element of naivety. He comes across as a decent guy but not at this moment, not one who would be anywhere near a consideration at this time I feel. |
| News Comment | Mowbray to Step Away From Birmingham to Undergo Medical Treatment at 16:13:26
Legend is a phrase used at any opportunity these days, too much so. Mogga however really is a Town legend, such an inspiration u def Burley. He’ll no doubt receive a great reception next time. Best wishes Mogga and a swift recovery to good health. |
| News Comment | Town Targeting Wimbledon Striker Al-Hamadi at 16:32:25
Most of the comments I’ve read seem to make the assumption that Al-Hamadi will be brought here as an immediate starter. I tend to think he’ a Scarlett type signing albeit a permanent one. At 21 he’ll be coached and trained up to the level we expect over time. I hope, and feel the bigger striker signing is yet to come next week. |
| News Comment | Gallagher Move Stalls at 19:28:02
No surprise, Blackburn know we need a striker or Two so they’ll rightly squeeze every drop from a deal. |
| News Comment | Delia and Husband Issue Statement on Car Incident at 19:53:58
At what point did the chauffeur fail to realise that driving the pair directly behind the Town team coach and into the Ipswich fans was a bad idea? Let me guess, he’s still got his job and the whole incident wasn’t seen as a big issue by Smith and Jones so are they still expecting an apology from Town!! |
| News Comment | Town Confirm Death of Fan Taken Ill at 20:51:56
RIP Anne, how ironic 81. Will be remembered fondly and hopefully with a special memorial in the remembrance garden. Condolences to her family. |
| News Comment | Chaplin: Stick to What You Know, That's What I Say! at 21:23:40
Absolutely love that insight into certain things on the pitch that as footballers they instinctively know and we as fans clearly don’t. Even as Chappers says, Coventry playing in effect with Three number 10s at times to nullify our play. However when that chink in the armoury appears, they are coached and drilled so well they know exactly how to exploit it. |
