Just thought as a heads up for those heading to Cheltenham as a man who’s currently living there. The main drinkers pubs in town are either “the frog and fiddle”, “copa” or “spectre”, for those needing some food… papparitos on the high street is bloody incredible. There’s a couple of spoons as well, and some more pubs on the way to the ground including “the Cotswold inn”. Takeaway wise, “Valentino’s” is the one. Anyone venturing off out afterwards, “lounge” “bentleys” or “vodka revs” could be lively. Can’t wait to get going tomorrow. In Cook we trust. |

Does anyone have any clear memories of the '78 cup final and the build up of it or any memorabilia they could post pictures of. I'm writing an historical piece for my university degree, any help would be very appreciated. |

Just finished reporting on the villa Bolton game, Terry Connor sat two rows back in the press box. Didn’t look a very happy bloke. Could be worse could have been Parkinson in the press conference. |

After the 6-1, "disaster" as Mick put it, what next? As a fan what would you take at the start of the season? Mid-table finish? Relegation in a hope of a rebuild of the club structure? I fear the latter may come sooner rather than later, but a rebuild is questionable as Evans' only chance of regaining the money he's put into the club is through gaining premier league status and relegation ultimately would lead to a sale, let's be truthful who would invest in a club that is going backwards and selling promising youngsters left right and centre, starting from wickham through to mings and ending with benyui. sections of supporters feel that a relegation would benefit us as it did Norwich but who of our players realistically would stay if we was to be relegated, from the starting eleven; Bialowski, Webster, skuse, bishop, mcgoldrick and dozzell would all be serious doubts as to whether or not they'd play their trade in league one. Therefore after this overhaul would we regain promotion back to the championship? We all complain about how boring mid-table mediocrity is but i for one would rather be a mid-table team in the championship with the remains of some dignity rather than a mid-table team in league one. In conclusion I'll ask the question again, as a fan what would you take at the start of the season? [Post edited 1 Aug 2017 10:42]

Berra hasn't looked the same player since smith was put in and out of the side, obviously he's injured now but it just shows how under rated he was. No doubt Webster will be a decent player but I don't think him and Berra work well with each other |
