Up 8%. Can't say I'm particularly surprised given the inflationary environment we're operating in, and with NMW up too. Not to mention the fact demand is outpacing supply, so it's perfectly understandable that we'll want to maximise the revenue at a time PR is packed to the rafters. Times are tough for people right now, and our fans have been amazing this season home and away, so it's a tricky one for the club I imagine, but ultimately feels like a necessity. |

Ali Al-Hamadi fees wouldn’t have been applicable in the year ending June 2023 given he signed in Jan 2024. |
| News Comment | European Clubs 'Monitoring' Hutchinson at 12:24:33
I would love to see him stay on, either on loan again or permanently as he seems to be improving with every week. Whether he stays beyond the end of this season or not his story is a positive one for the club. There’s lots of quality young players at big clubs and where they loan them out is a big decision which they don’t take lightly. It strengthens our case when we can evidence Omari’s development as the reason clubs and players should have ITFC near the top of their list of potential loan clubs. |
| News Comment | Supporters Asked to Hold Minute's Applause For Lifelong Fan Liz at 17:20:26
Terribly sad. I didn’t know Liz, but anyone who works in such a profession has my utmost respect and appreciation. Of course, a fellow blue too. Taken too soon, condolences to her family & friends and may she rest peacefully. I’ll certainly be clapping on ‘58 on Saturday. |
| News Comment | Mowbray to Step Away From Birmingham to Undergo Medical Treatment at 13:29:13
Some players become legends based on their achievements and contribution to ITFC which Mogga definitely qualifies for. What’s even more important is what a top bloke he is. Had a few interactions with him where he’s gone beyond what you would expect, a real down to earth and humble chap who carries himself with so much dignity. He’s overcome adversity in his private life before that you wouldn’t wish on anyone, I hope he can overcome whatever this is too. I know he has the full support of all Town fans. Stay strong Mogga, you’ve got this |
| News Comment | Town Ball Three in Fourth Round Draw at 15:14:06
There's some good options in there. Ideally we're at home to one of the 'lesser' teams like Mansfield, Exeter or Port Vale to give us a good chance of getting through to the 1/4 final. Wouldn't be a given of course but you would back us, especially in this form. Failing that, any of the big clubs would make for an interesting tie. Man City, United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal. Assuming they go through. Might well be televised too depending on the rest of the draw. The most underwhelming would be Middlesbrough, Burnley, Blackburn / Cardiff etc. The sort of tie that's both tough on paper and not very glamorous. |
| News Comment | McKenna: So Much to Be Proud Of at 06:18:06
What a guy, how lucky we are to have McKenna in charge. Drink it it ladies & gentleman. He’s always so measured, never too high or too low. Strikes a lovely balance between celebrating successes when they come but you don’t ever get the impression he’ll let his squad get ahead of themselves or believe the hype. Hearing he thinks there’s still loads more headroom to improve is exciting when you consider how much better we are already vs 18 months ago. McKenna says last night doesn’t compare to Arsenal in 2011, arguably true based on it being a Semi final and the quality of opposition, but equally that was half time in that tie and ultimately counted for little once we lost the 2nd leg. We’re in the hat for the next round, 2 wins from another semi maybe? Who knows, we’re probably a better side now relatively speaking as one of the best outside the premier league as it stands than we were then. |
| News Comment | Oxford Confirm Edwards Loan Switch at 13:34:36
All the best to Kyle, seemed like a really decent bloke and always an exciting player to watch in a Town shirt. Certainly contributed last season, the cameo off the bench against Port Vale is underrated but as big a win as any in that run in. A tricky and direct winger but what I liked about him as he was never hiding from defensive responsibilities. Always tracked back and supported his full back. With Manning, Leigh and Edwards there I'll be looking out for Oxford this season. |
