| News Comment | Jewell: Important Not Just to Focus On Connor at 21:39:44
Does anyone think we should or can sign Jimmy Bullard permanently? I know he would have to take a paycut, but i'm sure he would rather play each week for us for 15-20k rather than be on hull's bench on 45k. I think we need him beyond this season. |
| News Comment | Keane: I\'m Not Walking Away at 05:07:11
Just heard some of Keane's press conference on sky sports news this morning. You can't help but admire his honesty and feel sorry for him a little. I know I'll probably not be too popular, but I think he should stay but get in a good assistant who could help him out and maybe step in at the end of the season if it continues to not work out. Maybe Ray Wilkins or even Matty Holland could be a good idea. Lets face it, if Keane goes, all of you suggesting O'Neil or Jol etc as replacement are deluded. We are never going to get anybody as high profile as him again, unless we significantly improve. Even legend George Burley struggled until he got an experienced assistant in (Gorman) and he was of a pretty similar age and experience of RK. Lets get behind our players and our club and be a 12th man tommorow, whatever you think of the manager, please. |
| News Comment | Keane: No One to Blame But Ourselves at 07:47:44
We did play well today, but I think Roy should go now. There were good points today, I think we have a real talent with Troy Brown, and Andros Townsend and Grant Leadbitter played well today and Carlos Edwards. However these players are not up to it (at least under Keane). Marton Fulop (looks like he doesn't care) Giani Zuiverloon (hopeless) Darren O'Dea (not a left back) Damien Delaney (too slow) Tommy Smith (one minute looks like Kevin Beattie, the next Drissa Diallo) Jack Colback (not as good as last season, and a bit weak for the championship) Colin Healy (speechless) Rory Fallon (this guy already looks like the worst striker in our history) Look at the players Keane has let go Jordan Rhodes, Liam Trotter, Owen Garven etc. The coaches he has let go, Klug etc. The yes man he has by his side in the dugout. We would have got Brendan Rodgers in the summer if we had done the right thing and offered him the managers job, not disrespect him with the role of Keane's assistant. |
| News Comment | New Signings In Squad for Sunday\'s East Anglian Derby at 06:47:05
I think now that we must play 4-4-2 and play players in their natural positions and keep the team settled. Mick Mills made some very good points earlier in the week and I hope Roy has listened. My team would be GK Brian Murphy RB Romeo Zondervan! Zuverloon LB Shane O'Conner CB Darren O'Dea CB Damien Delaney RM Jamie Peters LM Lucianno Civelli ( if fit) or Andros Townsend CM David Norris CM Grant Leadbitter CF Jason Scotland CF Rory Fallon Proper width and crosses for the new big target man, and no central midfielders out wide, or central defenders at full back. |

Well done Connor. But we desperately need some goals from you. Has anybody noticed how absolutely useless David Healy looked for us, but has 2 in 2 already for Doncaster? I think it says a lot about us (or keane) Come on marcus, get sean o'driscoll in!! |
| News Comment | Keane: Forest Defeat Much Like Watford at 12:40:57
We have absolutley no experience, no leaders, no strength and no pace anywhere across the pitch. Having just one up front shows that our central midfield is not strong enough. Forest played 2 in there against our 3, and we are still outnumbered. Keane seems like he has thought, Chelsea have won the league, I know, i'll copy their formation. However, Scotland is no Drogba, Townsend & Edwards are no Anelka & Malouda etc etc etc. GET ZOLA IN!!!!!!! |

wooley hatted liberal, i think Beattie has played about 100 games for Rangers by now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
| News Comment | Fülöp Set for Town Medical at 21:26:26
I know Fulop will be a good signing, but does anybody remember the last keeper we brought in the last week of pre season? It was Matteo Sereni and what a disaster that was. A 1-0 defeat at sunderland next day and an awful season. This should have been done earlier, with the defence getting used to him and vice versa in games. |

You truely are my hero Bobby. I know that my nanny will be bending your ear up in heaven about our great club too. Sleep well. |

Seeya you dirty little greedy bugger. From what I've seen wriiten about him, especially on cardiff forums, Mark Kennedy should be a candidate for the captaincy. Apparently carries himself inpeccably both on and off the pitch, and how he helped Waghorn after missing the penalty in the play offs speaks volumes abou the man. |
| News Comment | Palace and Town Close on Garvan Fee at 20:39:35
I think Owen is a very decent player, but I think the Championship is becoming more of a scrap in order to get out of it. He would be great in the Premier League with more time on the ball, but he just isn't Keanes type of player, plus he is very lazy! Also, how gutted was I to see the "Dos Santos to return to Town" headline on the EADT website, only to find it was a story about him being in the Spurs XI for the friendly!!!! I went from utter jubilation to complete rage in about 1 second!!!!!!!! |
| News Comment | Assistant Appointment on Back Burner at 23:44:28
People might laugh, and I know he's a bit of a cockney wide-boy, but how about legend Jason Cundy for some kind of role on coaching staff.Heard him on talksport and could be very motivational. |
| News Comment | Kennedy Town Target at 21:55:49
Not sure about this one, I would be happier with Finnan, as he can play left and right back. |
| News Comment | Cardiff Defender Linked at 20:46:37
I think Roy has learned from the few mistakes he made last season. There werent as many as people harp on about, Lee Martin was a mistake mainly in terms of transfer fee and contract length, but both issues surely in the remit of Clegg. Priskin was another error but he has scored goals at this level and Keane (with these Hungarian links and the fact that he is not one of the 8 transfer listed) is obviously trying to put an arm round his shoulder even if it is in his own unique way! Then letting Jordan go was an error and his constant chopping and changing of the side in the first half of the season didnt help. However, he seems to be mellowing out week by week and does seem to show a lot of protectiveness towards most of the players, and for the most part will defend them and blame himself when things were going wrong. This Irish / Sunderland thing is totally stupid. The best managers in the world have brought players that they have worked with before such as Brian Clough, Jose Mourinho etc, so why does Keane get so much stick. We should remember that Keane is making his way at the management game and has moved his family to a brand new area, which he didnt do at sunderland. He is also handicapped by pre conceptions of people, that his style of play as a footballer has made him a lot of enemies in the game, and so they wont deal with him now as a manager. I for one still cant believe that a legend like Keano is on our side and in our dugout and I am sure he will get it right and make all the doubters and norwich fans on this forum eat their words. |
| News Comment | Keane: We Need to Be More Streetwise at 22:17:47
I think this Townsend from Tottenham would be a great signing and I think we should go all out to get Robert Koren now WBA have released him. Those two will totally transform our one dimensional midfield. Get in Hooper and a right back and a left back and we would be sorted. Maybe Naylor from Celtic. |
