There is two lots of people on here the pro mick, and the mick is a dinosaur lot. I'm in the middle I personally think he is doing a good job with what he has got, he has created an awesome team spirit, when he talks the likes of tabby up its not because he thinks he's a messi, it is him giving players confidence rather than slating them. The problem is money he has none to spend ,so how can he change the way we play when all we can afford is hardworking players with not so much skill. He has brought in a few gems but there is only so many of them for the money we have. So why do we not point our frustrations at the lack of funding Marcus Evans, I genuinely believe mick could get us up with a bit of money but will he get it I doubt it |

I agree that Edwards would be better off playing in his rw role, but disagree that Jamie peters is the solution, jewell needs to start from the back stop us conceding goals then work forward. I do feel he is still cleaning up keanes mess, and is paying the price interms of not being given the funds as his predecessors were, ok jet has been terrible so far, bullard has not really shone yet, cresswell has been excellent, I think bowyer has been ok for a free, not many complained about chopra At the start of the season, Ellington nuff said but was free. I think u have to give jewell till the end of the season, just my opinion like I said sort out the defence then work from there. |

bleedingblue i do realise about campbell and sonko, but do we risk waiting for premier teams to loan us players, i do think campbell would be a beast at the back in this league, yes not much pace but positionly and in the air so strong also wouldnt be powderpuff in the tackle like the rest of defence, and would talk and organize , just hurting so much and want action and soon. |

to be honest i cant see how jewell could not see this coming, last year our best defender was macauley, best defensive midfielder was norris both were allowed to walk away, ok that might not have been jewells fault, but were not replaced other than the injury prone ingamarsden and an old bowyer then we have carlos edwards playing out of posistion, add to that releasing squad players like troy brown. then we have jewell wasting time trying to get unrelistic targets like upson and woodgate, we need defenders and quick i say sign up sol campbell and sonko plus a rb on short term contracts to get us out of this mess, then we can have more time to sort out more long term targets |
