Looks like the guy at work was right on Connor Wickham, I posted yesterday that he said he was a doubt for the Malta game due to an injury. Fingers crossed it's not bad and he recovers for the next game and then comes back to us fit! |

IMO i think he is making a difference, he has been very good over the last 3 games when he has come on (getting used to it and matureing). No he has not scored yet i agree, but its only a matter of time! More time on the pitch IMO will solve that! |

I think he has been doing well in recent weeks and has really started to make the difference to the overall team performance when he has come on.
Good luck Connor, go and bag a load of goals for England and continue it when you get back.
Its great that we have a player in the England set up. It just shows, Wickham is highly thought off at the highest level, and his progress can only be good for us in the long run.
Also hopefully he will bag a few goals before he gos! |

At 14 Wickham was playing with Murray in the U16 and out scored him
at 15 Wickham played with Murray in the U18 and out scored him
Wickham has been moved on yet again for his development at a very high level for a 16 year old !!!!!!!!!
He is finding his way at CCC level and IMO not doing a bad job of it.
He is 16 for fcuk sake even at 17 and 18 he will be still learninghis trade !
The boy is learning at a fast rate of knots, bloody he'll give him a chance , he is not the finished product!
Don't get me wrong I like Murray and he will make it I'm football , he has god pace and can finish , but unfortunatley he is small and has NO strength on the ball however he may develope further as he is also only 18 years old ! So he also has time on his hands! |

IMO Wickham is one of the better passers of the ball when it come to a front player! U should start taking them shades off mate! I would be worried if he was not anxious to score, considering that's what he is there to do!
I feel for Stead as he was playing well untill his ban! Now is keane going to bring someone else in IMO no. We have enough cover up front but we do know he has been after a left back, so may be that's what he is after. |

Fulham played an attacking formation and got what they deserved.
I thought our midfield were out played attacking wise as we sat back and passed back to often.
I thought there was to much expected from Wickham, to many long balls to him and our fans shouting at him to do somthing and blaming him was shamefull; he is only 16 for fcuk sake!!!! |

Great game tonight !!
Thought Wickham killed them in the first half, with his goal and his team play of passing and flicks was excellent, stood out for me the first half, head and shoulders above!!
Second half was oooh my god hard to watch ! not in a bad way, but we sat back on the 2 goal lead and defended very very well, Eastman the standout player for the blues. A different half showing our defending power with Wickham left on his own up front, but Wickham had the chance to finish it off but as reported, he smashed it just wide, apart from that blues had no other chances as we just defended outstandingly !

I think he will stay and honour his pre signed deal.
An agent would normally say that his player will go else where, so the club will up the players wage; but in this case he is saying he will stay.
I do not think money is an issue here, it will be simply down to how much game play CW will get to progress his career. |

Paper Talk means nothing!!
Yes we know the lad is attracting big interest and so he should and its good for the club that we can produce good talent.
If a top Prem club offers him FIRST team football at his age, then I am afraid we have lost him.
However, I do not think that will be the case, I do not think he will move for anything less, Why would he? he is getting great experience at Championship level and he will only get better staying were he is (for now).
