Yes more than good enough , will score 15 plus goals this season and brings other players into play a lot ! The only worry is his injury record but if fit he brings plenty to the team , go find something else to moan about |

Yes O’Shea is a long way ahead of Woolfy ability wise and value wise , I think £4m was a cracking price for Woolfy great town servant and good bloke but had he not been an academy player nobody would have cared less that he was sold as he was a fringe player who wasn’t going to get any real game time for us ! |

I think what his trying to say and what I also thought was that Leif seemed very sheepish about it and didn’t argue the decision so came across as guilty , the ref wasn’t giving it and took ages to make a decision and I think he looked at the body language of Davis and gave it as a result ! It looked a clear penalty to me |

Yes although if you look at this Norwegian kid we are in for he played and scored tonight despite knowing their was bids in for him from that he clearly would like to explore yet still made him self available and performed for the club paying his wages which sayes a lot

Absolutely ridiculous suggestion as I’m sure you well know !
One of the best strikers in the league would cost £20m is always injured and wouldn’t come to sit on our bench , we’ve just given Hirst a new contract and building things around him so it’s clear he is first choice this season so any other striker coming in will be an able deputy type for when his unavailable and not a prolific striker
In addition no signing from them to us has or will ever work out well it’s not possible |

After two flat performances this was a lot better against the best of the sides we have played. Once we have a settled squad and get the last few players we need in the building we should start moving up the league September /October time. |

Your are correct he would have been a “cheat code “ at this level this level was literally the last time he put in a high class performance for us , at Pl level he is currently not good enough but maybe good enough one day in a better side but that’s no good to us a sulking kid is not what the club needed to get us out of this league we need men who are prepared to put it on the line every week ! Let’s hope he turns into a good Pl player and we benefit from a sell on clause in 5 years time but right now and here this deal is amazing and if you read the vast majority of comments across neutral social media platforms from opposing supporters the consensus seems to be that he is vastly overrated and that Forest are overpaying which is my view too but let’s see ! |

He may improve at a better side I agree however as I mentioned his value would never be higher for us as it is right now , if we kept him sulking all season against his well he wouldn’t be worth anywhere close to this next summer so it’s a great bit of business. I agree with Butchers take on him he didn’t shine at all last season even when he was in promising positions he couldn’t ever find a player or get a decent shot away , I feel we have got the better side of this deal than Forest have but assuming we have a sell on clause in case he turns into a good PL player in the future then it’s win win ! His attitude is appalling and is everything that is wrong with modern day footballers so I’m pleased he is gone and his money will hopefully take us further forward than keeping him would do ! |

The club have done brilliant here , Omari looked good in the championship and totally bang average last season at PL level , couldn’t ever beat his defender always cutting back inside and no end product at all. His value will likely never be higher for us as it is right now so this is great business and allows us to bring in several key players who will be more important to our squad than a sulking pre Madonna would be. Well done Ashton and co now let’s bring in some real quality |

There intensity was higher and they look hard to beat and as an opening game that was probably the hardest fixture we could have asked for , I think we have a few more levels we can improve on this season so I think that was a very good point and we can’t judge the side for 5-10 games until we know what our best side is as we have a lot of ins and outs

Who is going to sign any of our players outside Delap and possibly Davis/hutchison ? No PL side would take a plunge on players who have proved already they are not premier league level! We wouldn’t sell them to championship sides as they wouldn’t be able to afford them and we don’t need to sell so overall the core nucleus of our current squad should still be in tact next season with some additions , that squad is more than good enough to be a top 2-6 championship side ! |

Totally different times , we went down and shortly after ended up in administration and had to sell all of our promising players , this time round we won’t go into administration, have solid owners who will back us and won’t have to sell unless we want to and the monies too good as will be the case for Delap [Post edited 16 Mar 8:34]

Wake up and smell the coffee and stop trying to rearrange the deck chairs on the titanic ! We are ten points from safety with goal difference we won’t get close to securing another 10 points this season that’s without wolves getting more points which they will.
The bookies have us as 1/25 to get relegated and I believe we had a 98% chance of relegation from opta stats a few weeks ago and we have lost 3 more games since I saw that so probably even higher now . The players have tried their best in most games this season they are simply not good enough that’s the reality , no shame in that at all ! [Post edited 16 Mar 8:31]

Now the pressures off and the players know our fate maybe we might see one or two wins before the end of the season which would be nice but either way can’t wait until next season , going to games every week fully expecting to lose or scrape a draw if we are really lucky isn’t fun , the step up is a lot bigger than I think most of us expected , go down with some pride hopefully then have an enjoyable season next year and in reality we should be in the top 2-6 all season even taking into account losing delap, Cajuste & Phillips plus maybe one or two others. The squad we will have will be plenty good enough again even taking into account whether we keep the manager or lose him we should still have a great season. Then next time we are in the PL we will do it without the need to make 13 new signings in a summer which was our main issue this season. Very disappointed that we aren’t good enough for the PL but very excited about the next few years! |

Or desire of the players , it’s quite clear we’re fighting and following from a good performance at Forest on Monday this was another game that really could have gone either way , whilst we can’t fault the effort we just have to simply hold our hands up and say we aren’t good enough to be a premier league side , we’re not miles off and had we played the whole season with Encisio and palmer in goal and Phillips match fit as he now looks I suspect we would be in a lot better position than we are ! Sadly it’s just taken us to long to adapt with the amount of new players and injuries we have had and we lack the quality to win games at this level !
If we could maintain these performance levels until the end of the season at least we can show pride until the bitter end ! |

I agree however he shouldn’t have been taking one , his already cost us one shootout this season shouldn’t have been anywhere near another one ! The pressure of costing us one shootout would have been a lot to take so giving him the 5th penalty in a shootout like that was dumb , we all knew he would miss before he stepped up.
