Who is going to sign any of our players outside Delap and possibly Davis/hutchison ? No PL side would take a plunge on players who have proved already they are not premier league level! We wouldn’t sell them to championship sides as they wouldn’t be able to afford them and we don’t need to sell so overall the core nucleus of our current squad should still be in tact next season with some additions , that squad is more than good enough to be a top 2-6 championship side ! |

Totally different times , we went down and shortly after ended up in administration and had to sell all of our promising players , this time round we won’t go into administration, have solid owners who will back us and won’t have to sell unless we want to and the monies too good as will be the case for Delap [Post edited 16 Mar 8:34]

Wake up and smell the coffee and stop trying to rearrange the deck chairs on the titanic ! We are ten points from safety with goal difference we won’t get close to securing another 10 points this season that’s without wolves getting more points which they will.
The bookies have us as 1/25 to get relegated and I believe we had a 98% chance of relegation from opta stats a few weeks ago and we have lost 3 more games since I saw that so probably even higher now . The players have tried their best in most games this season they are simply not good enough that’s the reality , no shame in that at all ! [Post edited 16 Mar 8:31]

Now the pressures off and the players know our fate maybe we might see one or two wins before the end of the season which would be nice but either way can’t wait until next season , going to games every week fully expecting to lose or scrape a draw if we are really lucky isn’t fun , the step up is a lot bigger than I think most of us expected , go down with some pride hopefully then have an enjoyable season next year and in reality we should be in the top 2-6 all season even taking into account losing delap, Cajuste & Phillips plus maybe one or two others. The squad we will have will be plenty good enough again even taking into account whether we keep the manager or lose him we should still have a great season. Then next time we are in the PL we will do it without the need to make 13 new signings in a summer which was our main issue this season. Very disappointed that we aren’t good enough for the PL but very excited about the next few years! |

Or desire of the players , it’s quite clear we’re fighting and following from a good performance at Forest on Monday this was another game that really could have gone either way , whilst we can’t fault the effort we just have to simply hold our hands up and say we aren’t good enough to be a premier league side , we’re not miles off and had we played the whole season with Encisio and palmer in goal and Phillips match fit as he now looks I suspect we would be in a lot better position than we are ! Sadly it’s just taken us to long to adapt with the amount of new players and injuries we have had and we lack the quality to win games at this level !
If we could maintain these performance levels until the end of the season at least we can show pride until the bitter end ! |

I agree however he shouldn’t have been taking one , his already cost us one shootout this season shouldn’t have been anywhere near another one ! The pressure of costing us one shootout would have been a lot to take so giving him the 5th penalty in a shootout like that was dumb , we all knew he would miss before he stepped up. Totally agree , put Wolves in our place tonight against that 10 men side and Wolves go on to win the game comfortably second half , they were our only competitor to stay up and the truth is they are a long way ahead of us , I suspect we will finish 15 plus points behind them this season |

So based on this we have the lowest squad value in the league and therefore shouldn’t have won even won one game this season ? Man Utd are awful any other side aside from us , saints and maybe Leicester would have scored 4/5 tonight against the ten men ! We looked scared and totally in awe of the occasion ! The players are championship players and I now
Believe the manage is as well based on what I have seen the last 6-8 week , he doesn’t know his best side and has no plan B and barley a plan a ! No leadership on the side |

Grow up , we are relegated end of story , we couldn’t beat an egg let alone a premier league team.
Worst Man Utd side in history with 10 men and we didn’t create a chance ! If we could just go down now and not play another game this season I would take that here and now |

A little harsh in relation to the fact that our £130 spend was upgrading and entire championship side whereas other PL sides who spent less would have just been adding to a squad that is already a PL one so there’s a big difference there .
I do however agree that we should have more points than we have and are way too easy to score against as we have been all season ! I do think we will go back up next season however and won’t be a Luton. |

Without question had we signed Moore we would have more points that we currently have , no doubt about it ! The failure to sign a viable striker in August was a massive failing
Now of course Moore is not a PL striker or long term solution however he would have done a much better job than AAH at holding the ball up and making it stick when we were hanging on to slim leads /draws which would have resulted in some of those dropped points not happening ! |

Although quite clearly his the only player we have in the squad who is clearly levels above the rest of the side , he must have found it very frustrating playing with players who couldn’t play the way he plays or think as quickly as he does etc |

How can you prove it’s not correct ? The club have been exceptionally guarded about delaps buy back Clause whenever asked , they have never given a definitive answer , if it was rubbish it would be much easier for the Club to simply come out and say it’s rubbish , if it’s true then of course it’s much harder to come out and say so with the uproar it would cause. |
