People say you should wait until 10 games before you start reading into a season and well we've hit that number now. We're only 2 points off Second and are cemented in the top six. Great opening to the season. Shame about the international break as it ruined our momentum last time. If we're still in this postion come christmas then I think ME should put some cash in Keane's hand to strengthen the promotion push! p.s anyone fancy putting an early bet on a Ipswich v Norwich Play-Off meeting haha. |

Slow, old and wont score enough goals to get us into the play-offs we need a David Johnson character, he came in we were in the bottom 3 at Christmas 97 then he bagged 30 goals and we ended up fifth, cant we find a player like him please!

I watched the game and i think the draw was a good result, i know we missed a good few but we defended well at times too, Leadbitters header off the line and Aarran's magic save were scary moments. Overall we looked very solid and i don't think we need to worry about teams doing what they did to us in the first half of the season. We could maybe use a bit more pace up the top is my only concern we have goals in us just need to be more clinical. with regards to the Play-Offs 75 is the average number of points so we need about anohter 50 to be certain, big ask but i'm confident! Good result keano and the boys. |

I think this game will be a really good chance to show us all if Ipswich can seriously challenge for the play-offs this seasons! I'm optimisitc and hope we get the three points, a draw would be a good result at the high flying Foxes but we want 3 points to get us up the table and out of the relegation batle. Will be good to see the other strikers get a goal and hit some form. COYB! |

i Watched the draw and was gutted when we got Southhampton, like most i was hoping for a Prem team... but the more i think about this tie the more i like the sound of it, we have a good chance of progressing to round 5. I would be more confident it were at home but away it could be very tough. I think a draw and a replay wouldnt be a bad result. I hope we take this game seriously and get to the next round. This will be very interesting |

He's not the long term answer but with no stead an injuries possible he is needed in the squad at least for one more month, just another option, and he is a hassle for the defences, bit like Heskey.
Hopefully Priskin will get a chance tomorrow and if both are not on form then there's always Whickham or Pablo on the bench. Although i rekon the goals will come from midfield tomorrow. |
