As there are no trains on, we're a bit stuck on how to get to the Leicester game. I seem to remember (or may be imagining it) that in previous years there may have been supporter buses organised, does anyone know?
I'm based in London & looking for a pub to watch the game v Rotherham on Friday, it would be good to watch it with other town fans. Is there a London supporters allocated pub for the game?
Another point to this I think is that nicknames aren't self-assigned. Reminds me of a former colleague who introduced himself as 'Pistol Pete' - cringe. I don't really think it's any different for football clubs? Non-Ipswich fans across the country know us as the tractor boys, we need to get over it.
This was my point, I've seen 'super blues' on things printed out & in 'singing the blues' - but from living outside of suffolk, supporters of other clubs would ask me how have the tractor boys done. Work mates who are Chelsea or Liverpool fans aren't going to ask me how the 'super blues' have done.
Does anyone else find it odd and also a bit cringeworthy the insistence of the iFollow commentator to call us 'the super blues' rather than the Tractor Boys or just the Blues or Town? I'm guessing either he's been told to use it by someone higher up, or he's done minimal research about ITFC. Even if you're not a fan of 'Tractor Boys', I've rarely ever heard 'Super Blues' used.
