Remove Edwards from equation and the remaining quality we had was on loan (Graham asides - no quality at all)...First time I have seen new look town via via red button, and do not envisage rushing back to PR any time soon based on that performance. Socks not initially blown off by this appointment, but then again the Matty Holland scenario is interesting.
The brief surely is to install some discipline, keep us up (see Mick Mccarthy) and also build for the future (see Matty Holland). so upon reflection, I am chuffed.

There must be an announcement re' a CB in the offing ASAP. Surely we would not have cancelled DD's contract if PJ is not confident of landing at least 1, if not 2???
Will be interesting to what we replace DD with. Our recent record ins signing CB's in p**s poor to say the least. Will likely end up replacing like for like! |
