1) If MM & TC were still here we would not be relegated
2) Remember being at Villa Park in Jan 2013 (I think) for the FA Cup 3rd round singing to the Villa fans "Paul Lambert - he's taking you down" We lost thanks in part to a Darren Bent goal, who had hardly played all season, having (allegedly) fell out with PL,.

So agree with PL on this, the Club needs to re-engage with the community (Ipswich, Suffolk and North Essex included). MM & TC did a decent job (although not pretty at times) on the pitch but the Club has lost its connection (IMO), I think, to some extent with the community. I could go on for ages about this... but let's win today and be able to walk out of the ground with our heads held high, that will be are start. |

My son (12) , who is in his third year as season ticket holder sat through the whole game with his head phones on listening to music on his mobile, he's never done that before, not even under MM & TC. Enough said. Well actually no, not enough said because he can't judge the football against the glory years (as I can). Before the start of the season we were looking for a couple of away games to go to as well as the home ones as we have done before but If this carries on that is not going to happen. |

Only started watching the town in the seventies so post Ramsey, Crawford et all. For me the Beat was the best player ever for ITFC (in my era) and I am humbled to have had the honour of meeting him, no airs and graces just a genuine guy who was proud and honoured to achieve what he did at ITFC with Sir Bobby and the Cobbolds. One minutes applause on Tuesday night is not enough! Sad, sad day but so many good memories too.
