just hope the players dont over do it during the close season and end up burning out having no rest........But it sounds encouraging to be honest........Lets hope we can keep some momentum next season and not have our usual blip in form.....i Feel only a few signings are needed, a couple of 1st teamers and some better reinforcements and we'll be pushing for playoffs next season :).........In Jewell we trust COYB!!!!! |

now why is Kennedy getting stick? i personally thought he started well for us in a defensive mid role, also he was vocal on the pitch, we are still quite a quiet team....need more natural leaders out there tbh...........
but anyway, best of luck Shane, shame you didnt get more games as IMO i thought you looked a decent prosepect and possibly could of made the left side of the team your own........ |

personally i would love to see Andrews here permanantly.......some may say he hasnt exactly set the world on fire here, but his goals are invaluble....great goal return from a midfielder, yes he's putting himself in the shop window by playing well for us, but he obviously doesnt want to stay with Blackburn, so he's going to try nad engineer a move away....but this like Mcauley and Norris, this would probably be his last contract so he will be looking for slightly more money than his worth.......Really hope the club can sort something out, as we are better with him, than we are without him..........Slightly off subject, but Leadbitter has got to go.... |

earlier in the season did Pj not say he was looking for the right blend of youth and experience? where is the youth?? did he seriously expect the likes of bowyer and bullard to play near enough every game and keep the same standard week in, week out??? i went to the forest game, and bullard looked absolutley clapped out, not only physically but menatally too.......this team is too old in my opinion to keep up the quality performances week in week out, and the festive period is likely to go against us too, with games coming thick and fast, also we dont have strength in depth or even in the starting 11 tbh........we are looking at the likelyhood of relagation unless something happens soon, but i dont believe changing the manager at this point is the answer, i think we need to give the young hungry players a run in the squad, let them find their feet and see what they can do, surely its got to be better than this shower of sh**e........... |

the thing is 5 or 6 years ago, lee martin's tackle wouldnt of even been a free kick, he clearly got the ball...it was just a firm fair challenge, its not as if he went in two footed at knee height, the ball was there to be one, but also i can see where PJ is coming from, he does do a lot of wreckless thoughtless tackles, althugh he shouldnt of had to be that far back if the defense checked the run.........again its all down to poor defending and not working together as a team, it will take a while to sort it, but i believe PJ has the capabilty of doing so |

Fair play to Mark Kennedy here.....He knows its not right how we are currently playing, he's doing the captains job....The captain takes responsibilty for leading the team on and off the pitch, but as usual Leadbitter is quiet.....This team of players do not communicate, and even PJ has said that its the quietest team he has ever managed.......One word boys. COMMUNICATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know its too early too talk about relagation, but unless things pick up through the season, it will be league one next season.......COYB |
