Monkey Blue....what would you suggest ?yet another change of manager?most people on here wanted Lambert out and got their wish.Most people on here wanted Evan's out and got their wsh.We now have new owners who seem to be making the right noises. We need to trust their judgement and back the manager.
Burley inherited a poor side(Utd 9v0) and took several years to turn it around.
Ps I'm not related to Cook and he wouldn't have been my first choice either ðŸ˜

Nobbysnuts...how many training sessions do you think our players have had all together?You can't work miracles overnight !We are still making additions to our squad and it will take time.
If we don't at least make the playoffs I will eat my words. I will judge Cook on this seasons squad(Cooks team)and not the garbage he inherited.

Complete garbage from the likes of "Nobbysnuts"..Training is a different kettle of fish to playing in a game against different opposition. We have had a complete overhaul of staff and it WILL take time to gel.I would suggest giving the new side/manager 10/15 games to adjust.

Just listened to PL on radio Suffolk who when asked the question about bringing in reinforcements responded with "we have no money available ".I would like to ask Mr Evan's at what point will money be available?As a business Mr Evan's must have had a budget based on the money coming into the club.At a rough guess I would have thought a budget would be set based on crowds in the region of 16000.At this present time average crowds are approaching 20000 bringing in more money than expected .This would equate to approx £60000 per home game based on a conservative £15 a ticket.Over the course of the season 23 x £60000 = £1380000.This figure does not take into account extra revenue from programmes, food,drink etc..
Again I asked the question Mr Evan's!

I like the idea of playing with four strikers, but to do this you need two defending midfielders with flair and pace.We have two donkeys with no flair whatsoever.
Defensively very poor again, even Berra was made to look cart horse at best.
Again to repeat what has been said hundreds of times on this forum - right back and commanding keeper please.When will these problems be addressed?
Let's hope that Bru and Bishop are not to far away from being fit. |

Just heard the 6th goal go in a year after the hammering we suffered at the hands of Peterborough.We have made no improvement whatsoever!!!!
Same defensive mistakes need new RB and CB(Smith and Edwards not good enough).
Midfield to lightweight Jet to much of a "luxury"player who cannot defend or put up the fight we need when playing away.We need a Robbie Savage type player nasty and full of fight.
Another quality striker needed Chops is good enough but cannot do it on his own...
Jewell out??I think its inevitable if results and performances don't improve. |

If we can't match the wage demands of a 2iyr old striker from league one what hope do we have??
Was the clubs wage structure the reason why RK missed out on his summer targets???
Getting in loan players cheap short term but not good for the future of the club.
21 players out of contract at the end of the season lets sort out the contracts of the players we wan't to keep Norris , Mcauley ,Delaney e.t.c....Think how much we will have to spend to replace these players.
Lets hope PJ doesn't lose faith with the club and can unearth some more gems from the lower leagues(on low wages).

I assume by the comments made by bleedblue and goatman they have no children??i have three children aged 8,11 and 17.My oldest boy started his "nursery"stage in the south stand at the age of 6.At the age of 15 he decided to join the singing legions in the north adding another voice to the dwindling numbers.My other two are now both serving there time in the south hoping that one day they too will be promoted to the north.....You see bleedblue if it wasn't for sad parents like me(flasks+sandwiches)where do you think the future supporter of Ipswich would come from??????? |
