| Blog Comment | The Circle of Football-Supporting Life at 23:02:05
Excellent article, one of the best I recall reading on here and its sentiments not only resonate with me but probably would do with many supporters, regardless of which clubs they follow, if they were able to read them. |

Let's get it right, Duncan was not the first ITFC manager to be sacked. That 'honour' went to his predecessor, Bobby Ferguson, whose contract was not renewed. If that's not a sacking I don't know what is. Point two, the so-called Pioneer Stand debt is another myth. Players did not want to play for Ferguson, leading to an exodus of top talent and a subsequent decline in fortune. Apart from that, quite good. |
| News Comment | Wark Inducted Into Scottish Football Hall of Fame at 09:48:09
What took them so long? Ridiculous that Warky's induction should come five years after that of Terry Butcher. At least he's in good company as Steve Chalmers scored the goal that won Celtic the European Cup in 1967. Mind you, Chalmers has had a long wait - he's 81 soon. Don't suppose Tom Carson's in yet? |
| News Comment | U18s Defeated By Coventry at 20:28:44
Bit worrying that the academy kids are in a similar slump to the first team right now and especially that we can lose to a club currently propping up League one and described by their own fans as being in crisis. It's easy to say results don't matter but they tend not to conceal the truth - in this case that our rising stars seem way off the required standard. |
| News Comment | Ten-Man U21s Lose at Colchester at 18:29:26
Under-funding at academy level? Surely not - what about all that money some FA s are contributing on a regular basis and the thousands being raised by Simon Milton? Surely that couldn't be going straight into the general club coffers, could it? |
| News Comment | The Ex-Files: Craig Forrest at 17:14:18
Craig is one of the good guys, an absolute gentleman. First met him when he was 16 and seeing he is now 47 makes me feel old. Well done Blair on another excellent article. Anyone else remember how Norwich treated our heavy defeat at Old Trafford? They put the score on their scoreboard as Manchester United 9 Scum 0 and the person responsible was sacked more or less straight away. |
| News Comment | Bru Called Up at 14:59:44
Nothing personal, you understand, but Bru is just a run-of-the-mill midfielder, of which we have several these days, and would never have been considered good enough in the past. The fact that he is now confirms where we are as a club. |
| News Comment | Skuse: Midfield Needs to Score More at 09:39:10
Ambrose did score with a header but... 1. It was not as a substitute 2. It was in the FA Cup But apart from that you're totally right! |
| News Comment | Town Announce Norwich Ticketing at 19:05:47
Re £40 a head, the Brentford fans were chanting '£35, you're having a laugh' at Carrow Road on Saturday. McNasty & Co taking the p***. |
| News Comment | Ever Wanted to Grace the Portman Road Turf? at 16:54:22
Good idea but like so much of what ITFC organise it hasn't been properly thought through. The very fact that they are still looking for teams weeks after announcing the event shows it is far too expensive. |
