Misguidedly I decided to go to the local pub tonight to watch the match. 6 screens in the pub and not 1 available. Quote "we are only showing West Ham v Spurs and Ireland v the All Blacks, there is no interest here for Ipswich. That really says it all, so I didn't watch and I left the pub. I don't think MM will leave or for that matter ME will either. God knows where this club is heading but as sure as the sun rises in the east it will not be pretty. I look forward to the day when our once great club will at least recognised as an attractive footballing side, as it was in the Cobbold days, my major concern is that I may not live long enough to see it!!!!!!!!!!! |

Didn't watch or listen. Watched Toulon v Saracens and had the best Saturday entertainment for a long time. Pointless baying for MM's head cos he won't leave and ME quite possibly hasn't got the available cash to do so if the spending in the transfer market since MM arrived is anything to go by. I voted with my feet long ago. Nothing will change unless we the fans of ITFC make it VERY clear to both MM and ME that we at the club do what many others have already done. I want my club back, how about you!!!!!!!!! |

MM needs to go now, if not then in addition to Parr, Foley and Murphy moving on we may well be looking forward to seeing the departure of Bishop, Sears, Webster and Bialkowski, more especially if we get relegated as our most recent points tally suggests. I would prefer us to stay and compete in the championship but to do that we need a forward looking owner and a man at the helm who can see the talent we have available, play them in their best positions and utilise the undoubted talent we have brought on through the academy. MM is not that manager. So, in summary if ME hasn't got the foresight to replace MM and allows him to stay then the above scenario is distinct probability. |

Pip50 300 less than last season. Well last season is still not very good, is it. Bristol City a few thousand more, fantastic owner and young progressive manager. Ring some bells of the late nineties, maybe. Crowds will improve greatly when the ENTERTAINMENT improves, I for one will return. And before the 'loyal supporter' jibes kick in living in Minehead requires a great deal of travelling and cash. Time I have, cash I can find but incentive is as yet not an option, and I'm sure I'm not the only one! |

OMG what a shambles. Supported the Blues since 1986 and did so during thick and thin and then along came Burley ably supported by Sheepshanks. Win, lose or draw under Burley we WERE entertained with a team of round pegs in round holes, shrewd signings i.e Marcus Stewart and worthy of the name Marcus to boot!!!!!!!!! I have lost the will or enthusiasm to attend and will not do so until MM has a reality check (I know I'm living in hope) or is replaced by a forward thinking manager and and likewise owner. I live close to Bristol, who have just that. I am not jumping ship yet but things really have to change, and soon. |

I have a dilemma. Was thinking of going to QPR game tomorrow, however there is a conflict of interest, do I listen on Ipswich player to the match or opt for the Six Nations on TV. No contest really and before someone questions my loyalty to ITFC consider travelling from the Devon/Somerset border every other week to PR. Prior to this I travelled from West Africa every year for 9 years to support the Blues. Win, lose or draw it was better then (from Africa), bigger crowds, better entertainment and a more satisfying experience. MM really needs to respect the loyal paying fans, acknowledge this and realise, as we all do that ITFC have come through good, bad a B****y awful times, but above all we are passionate about OUR team. We are not a tax break, we are not MM's last chance saloon, we are ITFC and we deserve to be entertained, winning is not the be all and end all of being a supporter, it's about our club, our history, our passion, the legacy left to us by Sir Alf, Sir Bobby and George Burley. It's a lot to live up to MM, are you up for it. Is ME up for it, cos as sure as hell I am. Time to deliver a bit less arrogance, a lot more respect for the fan base, and next time you talk to ME, have a word on behalf of us all eh, there's a good chap. |

We do have to face up to it, the competition is way ahead of us at this moment of time. MM has been given an extended contract along with TC. Very good manager and coach but please ME give them the support they deserve. MM and TC are taking all the flack for what is a club that cannot succeed because we lack the vision, and funds afforded to previous managers. Numerous clubs in this league are outspending us by a considerable margin. Finding exceptional talent in the lower leagues and shrewd loan acquisitions has improved our squad no end on a shoestring budget. A proven manager at this level has been left wanting in this league. MM has done his very best to put a good first 11, but he surely has proved that he can spot talent wherever it is, so it begs the question "Where is the desire and support that was afforded to our 2 previous managers now then. ITFC made an operating profit last season by the shrewd signing of Mings. It would be prudent of the top end of the management at ITFC to reward MM & TC not just with a new contracts but a real show of faith in their ability to get us to the Premier League |

Well guys read into this what you like but we are 2 squad players down. What I don't get is Parr and Oar should have had a role at this club now, and certainly for the future. Why did they both leave, better still why were they allowed to leave. Answer :- We have a first team that is nailed on, of which 2 are loanees. The Portsmouth game was a farce of the first order, and commented on by MM as such. And REPEAT there are no better players out there!!!! So who would you suggest we get in as a long term prospect at ITFC, bearing in mind they have to free, on low wages and be prepared to play in the reserves ad infinitum. Not sure where MM is going at present, if it's the play offs then I really hope we make it and the final and the Premiership, if we don't some serious, very serious questions need to be and will be asked about of the long term destination of our club. Somehow something is not quite right about all this. |

Well we have a really good squad then "quote, unquote".. Lets hope that none of our first team squad are long term injured, because on tonight's performance we will be nowhere near the play offs. MM is not interested in the FA cup or the league cup but more worrying is the total lack of depth in this squad. Where in heavens name is ITFC going. Feel very, very sorry for the 800 fans who travelled such a distance to support the team they love to be shown how to play the beautiful game by a bunch of players in the third tier. So how good are the fringe players in the squad, but we must remember that there are no better players out there according to MM. |
