Completely agree with u wychyblue. Lawrence, webster & bialkowski are the best players we have. The rest of the team deserve them! If we had a good right bac and at least one decent attacking midfielder then we'd b doin much better. Its obvious we need a striker too. If we can get the right players in Jan then mayb we can stop the rot, otherwise if MM is still in charge then i fear 17th is where we'll stay!
Frustratingly i think we're still good enough to get the odd win and keep MM in a job so at the moment we're goin nowhere! Change of tactics and/or change of personel desperately needed!! Please Santa..all i want for Xmas is my club back! |

Really worried about the next two fixtures as I can see us ending up with no points!
However, In the past we've had a few players missing and the rest have rallied around and got us an unexpected result (even if it wasnt pretty!). Hopefully that'll come true!
It'll be an important game for players like emmanuel, lawrence and bishop (if he plays) as we need these sort of players to create something (especially if ward is absent).
With a performance and a rub of the green then I'm sure we can come away with something! COYB!! |

I was at the game on saturday and thought it was embarssing from us in the first half but what worries me as that surely this shows we don't have quite the strength in depth that we thought? I still believe we are stronger then last season but I'm surprised Mick doesn't want to add any more players to the squad!
I think when we have our first team playing we have a real chance of winning every game but I still wonder if we have enough back-up if/when people get injured?
When Oar and AMN left the field on saturday and were replaced by sears and fraser you could instantly see the change in quality and play from our team. I think with a few additions and if we keep our key players fit then possession and performance will improve... (fingers crossed) |

Agree we should win this one with that squad-much better then the teams we've entered on previous season's.
Would love to win the competition but I'd still rather focus our best team on the league and blood a couple of youngsters.
I'd also rather risk their lack of experience in this game then on sat...at least not until we've won the league!! ; ) |

I signed up to Ipswich player before the game (as I live on the London/kent border) and listening to the game it sounded like we had more pace and creativity (then last year) with fraser and AMN but also the ability to dictate the game from central midfield. So despite the result I am still optimistic that we can do better than last year. As a few people have mentioned, we need to sort out those defensive lapses- once that is sorted out then can't see us doing worse than 6th again.... |

Thats the right way to go Mick. I was disappointed when I found out that Didsy was injured and I still think this seriously dents our chances of the last play-off spot, but we need to see the positive side in the opportunity this gives to the other players.
Unfortunately Mick doesn't seem willing to give Taylor a proper run in the team but I'm confident that when SEB gets fully fit he could do the same job as Mcgoldrick, hopefully sooner rather than later...! |
