SWN98. Anyone who claims to have followed ITFC for 45yrs and finds the so called football MM has dished up over the last 2 years acceptable clearly has a problem. I for one did those trips and watched a team that took the game by the scruff of the neck and set standards now being upheld by those in the top tier of the premier league. We may never see those days again but we can at least have ago at playing similar to those who represented our club in the 70's and 80's. Those who think it was all about money are deluded. If you cannot see or accept our club was being destroyed by MM then clearly you have no real knowledge of the game or the history of our club. |

Can't believe people are still harping on about things he did in his first 2 years. he took over a pretty good squad from Jewell and got them organised. Since that spell he has slowly but surely destroyed the history and heart of the club. He has been disrespectful to the fans and is the main cause for falling attendances. You wouldn't wish a pension fund manager good luck or thank him for halving your investments. Should be directing your thanks to ME ( all be it muted ) for at least listening to the majority of the fans and making the only decision that would save our once great club. I will be there on Monday like I was at the Den in 1978 to cheer on the team. |

I sit in SAR stand and us normal passive fans were spitting feathers and letting the idiot in charge know how we felt. Going back to the coop stand, not surprised you didn't here anything as the stand was nearly empty. Most ST holders are not attending anymore. Might I suggest you take off your blue tinted glasses the next time you venture to PR. |

cat, think your spot on. As a fellow supporter of 41 years I also endured the hoofball tactics whilst it generated results and the hope that he may one day pick a team to play football on the floor. Alas it was not to be and we have witnessed dire football now for over 18 months. I look at my FA Cup final Ticket autographed by the great Sir Bobby Robson and my two UEFA cup final tickets and wonder where did it all go wrong. Well we cant blame MM and ME for that but we can complain about the lack of progress and entertainment they have dished up over the last 18months. I do not always expect to win but do want a little excitement and entertainment when I spend my hard earned cash on a ticket. Guess I am one of the older generation who remember the great times that ITFC want to get rid of so they can peddle the current sh*** they provide and call it Football. Will not be renewing season tickets. |

Unbeleivable interview. Been a paying supporter since 1976 and never felt so undervalued as a supporter/ customer. The man is clearly deluded and thinks he is blameless. Thought exactly the same when he was at Wolves. What happened to the best squad I have had at the beginning of the season. Clearly suffers from memory loss as well. If MM is here next season then there are 2 more free seat seats for ME and ITFC to fill. Will always follow the Town and look out for the results. Clearly Kieron is not paid by ITFC, But like so many other of our previous players they are noticeable by their silence on the Current state of the club and Mick McCarthy. No doubt very weary of the fact that any hospitality they currently enjoy will be removed if they don't tow the company line. Even Terry Butcher was less critical once interviewed at the club training ground. It's down to us supporters to make a stand and show those In charge we can make a difference. |

Why give this idiot anymore publicity. He clearly has no understanding how hurt fans are feeling this morning. Why no Headline that Butcher and Pundits slam Towns performance. Unfortunately the local press and to a certain extent TWTD are in the pockets of the current owners of ITFC. No doubt they enjoy the hospitality on match days on the basis that they don't rock the boat. They need to choose between their own needs and those of the fans and lifelong supporters of ITFC. Has neither the B****s to Print a headline that "Fans want McCarthy Out". or are they afraid they will have to sit with us long suffering fans in our overpriced seats rather than the Directors or Press Box. Both the EADT and TWTD have the power in their hands to force the issue. I doubt either has the ***** to do anything. |

As one who attended last evening I can agree mood was sombre and not a rapturous applause when those who backed Milne and Mick made their points. However, there a number of fans and investors who will follow the current regime over the cliff if asked. Was noted that up to 2,000 ST holders were not attending games for various reasons.Acknowledgement that the dire performances and entertainment on offer had been discussed between owner and manager. The board were always going to back the Manager. He will be backed until he is sacked!! Whilst I am convinced ME or IM don't want to remove MM. I feel if things don't improve dramatically and the reality of losing another 2,000 + season tickets and falling attendances will force their hand. Time will tell but think Dino's days are numbered. Not planning to renew my 2 season tickets under current regime.. |
