If we let Steady go who's going to play at Crewe tomorrow nite? We'll only have Priskin and Murray with nobody to come off the bench. If we can't clinch a deal for players then we need to keep Stead because he's currently our best striker who is actually fit! |

Makes sense to get rid of Stead. I've just seen on bbc gossip column that we've bid 4 mill for Chopra but it is mail on Sunday :(. Wouldn't let Steady go until somebody else has signed though and think 225k is rather cheap. Starting to get optimistic about this season, just need a couple of forwards and cover in centre mid to sign and we're looking really solid! |

Agrred ArnieM, Clegg for some reason seems unable to clinch these deals. We really need a couple of players (hopefully forwards) to gain some momentum. If we're on form and the likes of Wickham and Civelli come back then we could be in for an exciting season! |
