blueherts: have you ever been to the training ground. I have and I've seen RK coaching, encouraging and interacting with the young players and "not a team player!" give us a break. I seem to remember Keane getting a yellow against Juve in the Champions League Semi in 1999 and when that meant he was going to miss the final did he do a Gazza and have a little sob for himself or did he drag ManU into the Champions League final when he practically beat Juve on his own? Sounds like a team player to me. |

The comments about not playing Wickham & Peters in a friendly are incredible. Maybe the whole 1st team squad shouldn't train the week before any game .......but there's a game every week so that would mean they'd never train.........and before anyone says that training sessions and practice games are different things you need to get out to the training ground. Unless you train and practice at real game intensity there is no value in training |

Can anyone remember RKs comments at the end of the transfer window when he bemoaned the lack of action from the chief exec to strenghten the squad in key areas as he feared what would happen when injuries kicked in?
