reasersfreekicks, stead is not a poor player. at times yes, he is aweful, but he has a great mind and knows what to do wen he has the ball. defo play him in the starting line up, he is getting better and better.

i totally agree with dreblue. however i would keep stern john upfront and put pablo on the bench - i agree with blueboots - he cant play away from home. plus not a bad shout about playing trotter as he knows the opposition but i wouldnt play him coz he is rubbish |

Damn! thats a big blow! walters maybe not as much - he can be replaced. but leadbitter! he has been our best player by far this season, he controls the midfield, gets back and defends well, and attacks well as well ( one of the only players on our team who shoots from range ). With him not availiable i would like to see garvan and colback playing centre mid :

Can i just say,
Please do not sack keane!!!
We will beat Derby 3 - 1 on saturday and we will start to climb up the table. When Civelli comes back we can get rid of Martin who has been utterly aweful this season. Civelli will casue hell for defenders and we will look much more of a threat going forward.
If we sign Sol Campbell the defensive line will be so much more secure, he will comand the defence and with him in the back four we would look so much better on paper aswell

We must keep Begovic aswell - quality keeper and along with Leadbitter, one of keanes best signings so far.
I read the blog "Is sacking Keano a Senisible option?" and i couldnt agree with him more. You just have to look at our team to know that we have got quality players and that our league position is unjust.
Against Watford, there were very very promising moments. Walters had a couple of chances and their keeper played well. Plus, a draw away against Plymouth isnt a bad result. I didnt go, but, i was pleased to see Colback in the team. The result has kept us in with a great chance of getting out of the relegation zone in the next couple of weeks. Also, if you have seen the highlights you will know that we did have late chances, one of which was cleared off the line.
Well done to all the U'17's in this article, but i really commented on this so that people could see my views.
I believe we are going to start moving up the table. Starting on saturday.

I can see Danny Welbeck being the perfect loan signing, and it is also very possible. Keano has his contacts in United, Welbeck is one of Fergasons best young players who isnt playing at United at the moment, so it would be a perfect challange for the youngster to come to Ipswich and prove himself as a week in, week out goalscorer.
Aswell as Welbeck i would love to see Campbell at Portman road, although he wouldnt come until Janurary he would definatly secure the defence, he may not be the quickest player but he is a leader, and will head the ball whenever he can, he will also bring experience to the defence and tutor the younger players, Smith, Pim and Brown.
And perhaps more unrealisticly, Gio and Dyer. Get these players in and watch us fly up the table.
Fantastic tributes to Sir Bobby on saturday, it was a great occasion. And as a minor positive from the match I thought we looked good up until their first, and Trotter had a decent first half.

i think every ipswich fan who cared about sir bobby should be there, he was a great man who did wonders for this club. As a memorial match i think a draw wuld be the farest result, and not a bad one at that, although i can see us pushing for a win. If all 27,000 of us there get behind the team it should be a special day. RIP sir bobby - true legend |
