To clear this up.... the photo was taken from the carpark on Portman Road. It is a side on shot of the Sir Alf Ramsey Stand which obviously joins onto the cobbold stand. Hence why you can see part of the Cobbold stand in the shot!
Im glad to see maintenance is being carried out! It was looking a little grubby. But as has been said above, its the cobbold stand that needs the sprucing up! Those windows all along the side are covered in bubbled up tinting film and look hideous! Along with the old ITFC canopies which are old and smeared with green as they have been there so long!! Wouldnt take a few quid to re-tint the windows and replace those canopies! |

Ok, I am not a Keane 'Hater'... I just dont think he is the right man for this Job. (Just to get that out of the way first)
My point here is going to be....
Who can actually be happy with how we are playing at the moment, and have been for this entire season. Saturday was my all time low as an Ipswich Fan... The first 20mins were fantastic, but then it just collapsed..... I have never seen us play, and be setup so negatively... 4-5-1 for the last 15mins absorbing pressure.... IT WAS DIRE to watch...
I know some people blame the players for this, but 50% of a squad dont just go bad over the course of a season.. Keane is having a bad effect on this club and i worry where it is going...
For all those who doubt me, i am a true blue through and through and have followed for many years and will continue to, but doesnt mean i have to just accept everything that is going on... |

He has to stick with the same 11 on Saturday.....!!! Its taken him 35 games to finally play a 'footballing' side... Obviously with the exception of Norris who was out...
The balance that has been soooo badly needed has finally been put on the field. I think Healy should get another start as he needs games, and also it was his movement that setup the first goal and drew defenders away.... The only thing the lad needs is game time to get the sharpness....

This needs to come to an end! I am a blue's fan through and through and am now finally FED UP with having my heart ripped out week in week out.....Our club has sold itself out and look what we are left with....
Getting rid of stead was the last straw for me... Under Jim, we wouldnt let Shumi go to Derby as they were one of our close promotion rivals, and yet, now we can let our top scorer go to one of our relegation rivals......
Its almost at the point now where i dont care any more... And it scares me as i am passionate about 'my' club, but that feeling is soon slipping away... And im not sure how soon it will come back.. |

I am really dis-heartened by this news.... I really rate stead! He has not been able to play his best position for us this year, and when he has he has scored consecutive goals.....
When used as a target man, he is wasted, as this is not him... He prefers to play off someone... I cannot remember which game it was, but it was was when garvan had played it to peters on the wing, who swung a ball into the feet of stead, who turned and tucked it in the corner....
Thats the sort of player who stead is, but he has not got the service from a very mixed and muddled midfield.
After he goes, that leaves us with Murph, Healy, connor and Wickham... I would imagine he is going to bring is someone else to replace him, but that will be someone else new who is going to need to settle in (as possibly gain some fitness).... |

I dont think you can play Norris, Leadbitter and Colback in the same team..... They are all very similar players which gives you problems in the middle. I think Walters needs to stay out on a flank (preferably right, ut can do the job on left side) that is now his far best position...
Why did he mess with the back 4???? Should have kept the back four the same as Bruce is NOT a full back, he is a centre half! Same gos to Pim, ok he can do the job there, but not his natural position... WHY HAVE 4 CB's ON THE FIELD WHEN YOU HAVE 2 FULL BACKS ON THE BENCH!! who have been doing the job brilliantly in the past few games.... |

I dont blame the players and i dont blame keane. I blame the upstairs.... forgiving Sheepshanks his wrongs, he was a football man and in most cases knew what was best for Ipswich and its community. I am extremely worried by the fact we now have 2 people in charge of OUR club who are not football orientated. Instead of picking a manager that was right for this club, they picked a 'name' for the brand.
Is this 'football' good for the brand evans??? is this good for business??? I think not....
I have seen some lows during my time as a town fan, but Saturday far far surpassed any of those bad feelings. The team look afraid to pass the ball about, is this instruction from keane??? get it forward and play the percentage game??? i dont know, but you can see from the original blue players (e.g. Pablo, Walters) that they care... and they do not like what is going on....
the fans chant 'KEANO SORT IT OUT'.... but im sorry to say, this is him sorting it out... he doesnt know how to...
And i am very very worried where our club is headed. Thanks for reading,
