I am slightly more concerned that this shows massive discord in the camp and a two camp mentallity - loanees and contracted, we know there are massive problems. But there has been a knee jerk approach to problems - bad game, new loanee, bad game, another new loanee. Whoe ever comes in need to take stock and work from first principles, clean slate for all. This offload this player offload that is nuts, whether they are contracted or loanee, one we can't afford to buy out contracts and two I'd rather the new guy had all these players to work from and see who cuts the mustard, hopefully with better direction. I am not surprised both contracted and non-contracted players (loan) are narked with the latter day desperation in the loan market. For the last 12 games, we have been rubbish, with few shining lights,but they all have now a chance to show the new guy they are worth the effort and can contribute. That said donot like giving short-term loans captaincy unless there is some pre-agreement for longer term.
Hope this is all over soon and we get some optimism and postiveness back, but please do not expect the demands of signing a quality centre half, left back, right back, striker to be met over night, we are going to have to get behind the new guy and see if he can make the same bunch of players work as a team |
