I don't think the uprising in season tickets is due to value. If anything, it's the success from last season. I'm a new ST holder (first year I've been able to make all the games) and I paid over £500+. It's not good value by any means, but I want to support the club. Price you have to pay I guess.
Doesn't help that Saturday fixtures are moved to midweeks though! |

To the guys telling me to back the team instead of criticising - I always back the team. I'll never turn my back on them. But the recent run of results, we can't bury our head in the sand any more - things have to get better, and fast.
You have to question some of the decision Mick has been making recently. After all, when is OK to criticise if not now? Yes, the fans need to get behind the team, and bar a few nutcases, they always do. But after the game is finished, we need to admit something needs to change.

If he has a superb season, Portsmouth win league two and he's player of the season, why shouldn't we consider him for the first team? Just because our loan signings don't break through that often, why can't one break the mould? He's played arse-all senior games, give the lad a chance! It's a good move for him and for us I think! |

Great move for him - and the fact he lives opposite me makes me happier he's potentially going places.
Don't forget he'll get a decent run in the league, LC, FA Cup and JPT. 4 competitions there for him - should be a good experience for him. Good luck to him! |

Have to say it, but I think a league cup run would be great for some of the youngsters - get them first team experience, so I hope we can make it past the first round this year.
On a side note, Matt Clarke went to my school, lives in my village, so I really hope he makes it. Promising young talent, would love to see him start a few games this season |
