Praise be the Suffolk giant Ipswich Town come to lowly Colchester, such a privilege for us teeny tiny teams in the lower leagues (Although, as you've pointed we're lucky to be in any league with our parking).
If you did your homework, there is parking at ground for £5, & two mins walk parking in the industrial estate (even cheaper). Also there is a park & ride from the station and several pubs in town which offer a pick up/drop off service. See, not so hard after all was it?
I know we have a lot of catching up to Ipswich to do, as you have free parking galore in Ipswich town centre on a match day, or am I wrong? Isn't it all privately owned car parks & queuing? Maybe it's changed.
We seem to manage when Spurs came with a 10k crowd, I pray to good when the footballing galacticos of Ipswich that traffic isn't bad, at least I hope it isn't as farcical as one of your collective point out (We have our own exit onto a major A road by the way, you'll wait 10 mins tops - no town centre diversions).
