"“I don't think there's any club in the world that gets better attendances for losing games." Really, Paul? I can think of three clubs - Man City, Leeds and Norwich - where, in phenomenal numbers, supporters stayed with their teams through times of trouble. Most recently Norwich regularly had crowds of almost 25,000 during the season they got relegated from the Championship and then in Division One. The problem for Ipswich is that the Evans bubble has unrealistically raised expectations amongst the casual supporters that are needed to push the gate over 20,000 at Portman Rd. It also has simultaneously disillusioned the longer term supporters - many of whom feeling extremely disengaged from what they used to feel was 'their' club. Remember the post-takeover, post-Keane appointment days? As the old saying goes be careful what you wish for. |

Just to let you know that this has been noticed up here by a quite a few fellow Norwich fans. Local rivalry aside for a few moments - well done Ipswich Town fans. |

Secretive billionaire stroking in his white cat in his tax haven vs democratically elected council providing essential services for local people - I know which side I'm on. Shame on you (what remains) of Ipswich Town FC. |

@ MarcusSg "I'm against this. If an asset stripper takes over the club the current arrangements protects us." Spot on - except for the 'if' clause. Does anyone really expect Evans to do anything else other than try to maximise his return in any way he can? |
