I think this will end up being a very shrewd appointment by Ipswich, the guy has bags of experience in this division, has got teams promoted, and kept those teams in the prem, so yes a very good appointment.
I will predict we will be in and around the play offs next season.

Wow, what a signing kk would have been, NOT, but he fits the bill he's a journeyman, and he's Irish, and has he played for RK before?

I totally agree with this blog, I think we are missing a trick by not getting in Chris Hughton, lets look at the facts...... he has worked at some of the top clubs in England, worked under some of the countries top managers, is liked by his players, plays nice football, spends money wisely, got promotion with Newcastle, took Newcastle to mid table in the top flight.
I think I am going to leave it there because I get the feeling the Marcus Evans is going to do nothing about this situation, if he is happy with how it is going then he is going to get all he deserves, we were a much better side under Magic, at least we played attacking football and scored some goals.
The rubbish we are being served up at the moment is just depressing, I just don't understand why ME is hanging on to such a inept manager, poor tactics, bewildering substitutions......... need i go on? |

ME just thought bringing in a big name manager was the way to get out of this league, it is'nt, QPR had the right idea in getting a experienced manager in Neil Warnock.
That guy knows the league inside out, you dont need big names, you need to pull your players into a tight knit squad, pulling all in the same direction.
Please ME the best money you coukd spend is paying off RK and bringing in Martin O'Neill at whatever the cost, that my man would be the best money that you could ever spend.

ITFC1981, I totally agree with your post, Martin O'neill would be the man to take over from RK, his experience, tactical nouse, man management and also he would manage to bring in the type of players that will take this club up the league during the transfer window.
We need some experience at the back, some hard tough defenders, midfield does look good, we also need a 20 a season striker desperatly, if CW goes to spurs, why couldnt we do a swap for Dos Santos?
