waiting for this performance for a long time, McGoldrick and Waghorn were the pick for me but all played well and we actually played some great football on the deck, passing was much better. Look forward to more of this and Webster and Huws still to return, ITFC leading goalscorers in the league. Well done Mick and the coaching team, bring on Bristol City who also seem to be playing well. |

worst Ipswich team performance in many years, this team is only going in one direction,down. must be worst midfield in the league,slow.ponderous,cannot pass the ball. never saw Ward beat the fullback once,Bru never made a forward pass and Best is never going to score many goals in a season,even if he had good service.it is going to be a long season with few goals.depressed blues season ticket holder. |

what a poor performance again to be shown Sky TV,we may be well organised and drilled in midfield/defence but we have absolutely no idea going forward. Lets be honest with Pitman and Sears as our main strike force we are not going to score many goals and we must have the worst right back in the league. You can see that most teams target this.How does Smith keep Webster out ? I think we deserved a point but what was Knudsen doing Reading and the Referee were just waiting for that in the last minute. Two very poor sides, as a season ticket holder i feel that it is going to be a very long season. Come on Mick the Ipswich fans deserve better. |

I have been to all three games in the last week, same set up, poor games and only three points to show for it.Come on Mick your formation has not and is not working, give the fans a change and something to cheer in the remaining games.Mr Evans and you money men in the club give the manager something to work with. You missed the chance in January when the team needed strengthening. At present as a club we are going nowhere.You are asking for our money and support with new season tickets where are you Marcus??

with the injuries we have and the midfield we turned out this was an excellent performance by the team. with Foley running things in midfield we tried to play football at last, why not when Murph is playing ? as his control is much better than Pitmans. Forest had their chances but Bart was outstanding again.we badly need the main lads back when we play the stronger sides |

good solid performance,failure to take good chances,particularly Murphy,made for a tricky last 15mins but defence stayed solid. Another 3pts away from home and we did at least create plenty of chances, typical McCarthy performance ? thought Skuse once again had an excellent game, Douglas also played his part.Same again against Fulham. |

much better performance than saturday against a poor Bolton side. Murphy is looking much sharper and Sears deserved a goal. thought Bru was off the pace at times but Skuse cleaned up most things in midfield and two good goals. good solid performance at the back against some big lads but i wish Chambers would try and play the ball out of defense sometimes instead of always hoofing it up the wing. |

good first half unlucky not to score, second half we never looked like scoring, standing in the north stand i cannot recall one good effort on goal. sadly Murphy lacking confidence ? and Sears wasted out wide.Dids was poor. Why wait 80mins to make a change ? |

embarrassing defender and non existent midfield, we cannot continue to play Skuse and Douglas together and we cannot continue to play Chambers at right back. Move Chambers inside and drop Smith who simply is not good enough. As for the goalkeeper ??? come on Mick everyone can see that he is a liability, he never comes off his line to help centre of defence, Bart is a much better option. Need pace and fight in midfield. On the plus side I thought McGoldrick, Sears and Fraser tried to play some good football. Long season ahead, early days,and I am sure Mick and Terry will sort it out. |

great second half, sears ran his socks off all the match, good to see Murphy get some support up front at last. changes needed to be made at half time,both Bishop and Hunt were dreadful. At present Bishop is too lightweight and needs too much time on the ball. all the subs made a difference, could and should have won by more but good performance and hopefully we can forget the last few games and move on to Fulham. |

great team effort against much stronger opposition, difficult to pick mom but probably just Bru. Williams got rough treatment from the start hope he recovers in the two week break because he just adds that bit extra in midfield.Prefer Parr at right back but cannot complain at nine points in a week. |

feels like a defeat not a draw,2pts thrown away against ten men because once again we sit back and get negative and sloppy in the last few minutes. until then we were playing well we could and should have put the game beyond Blackburn. thought that Bru had a good game, Salmon was a nuisance but is poor in the air and never gets a shot on target, we missed Murphy but on the bright side unbeaten run continues. |

we were second best across the park, whilst our front two are not the best in the league they had to feed off nothing more than scraps. we have an indecisive goalkeeper and possibly the worst midfield in the league who create absolutely nothing. I did not think that Norwich played that well but they were streets ahead of us on the ball. What did the manager say earlier, that he would accept 3 wins out of the first four games if the defeat was against Norwich. Well Mick you def got your wish re the Norwich game but only a scrambled draw at Birmingham and we hung on for the home win against Fulham. Fulham havenot set the league a light.Come on Mick we deserve better, go out and find some thing better for our midfield.Will be travelling to see the game at Derby on saturday?? |

great to start with three pts,typically hard working performance against a good side.Berra and Smith outstanding in defence and Hyam put in a good shift in midfield.still lacking flair and pace in midfield but Hewitt showed some promise.more to come from him hopefully.great to see McGoldrick back to help Murphy who took his goal well after good work from Hyam. |

Defence was well organised and Berra had yet another excellent game. midfield worked hard,closed down Birmingham quickly and restricted them to a handful of chances, upfront Taylor was lively and unlucky not to score and Murphy got the goal and was busy all game.Unfortunately although Nouble had a better game he is def. not championship standard and breaks down most of our attacks.??Our midfield work hard when defending but yet again we are lacking in pace and ideas when going forward.Hope Williams can add something when he is fit, reports suggest he will. |

great result,deserved the win after improved second half,solid performance from Smith and Berra , i thought Tunnicliffe put in alot of work and won the ball both times leading to the goals,Mcgoldrick should have scored but happy with a 2-0 win.Anderson and Hunt seem to be our best wide options at the moment, unfortunately Edwards was "all at sea".Roll on Leeds, hopefully start of another good run. |
