Town 2-0 Millwall
at 15:04:52

TRACTORLEGEND ???

Everyone is entitled to their opinion - that's the point of a message board but what you said about Skuse is just plain wrong.

You said "Skuse- not great first half had an outstanding second half distribution was fantastic"

Over half of his passes went to Millwall or out of play - fact.

I appreciate there is an anti-Skuse bandwagon at the moment but I have seen him as the weak link for months now. I guess what Mick Mills said on Radio Suffolk makes sense - that Mick McC wanted experience next to Bishop, so didn't go with Hyam - but to use the word "fantastic" is plain daft !

JUNIORSCHOLES6 - OK, and try and reply without reverting to insults - if you had Norris, Leadbitter & Colback in the starting eleven, how could you do that without dropping Hyam - in which case the midfield would basically be the same as last year?

Apart from being cover for DN and GL, how is it so great - if we play all 3 of them, then it will be the same rubbish formation as last season?

Town Appeal Delaney\'s Red Card

Why do people keep referring to him not being the last man - he wasn't sent off for a professional foul. It was a poor decision by the ref (as was Stead's) but I worry about Scunny appealing as well because if they are both successful, then the ref looks stupid — and it may be difficult not to treat them the same.

I understand what the author is saying but I wonder if he is Optimistic Dave in disguise - talks sense but loves the sound of his own voice and uses a thousand words when a hundred will do. Just for the record - the financial comments are true but I believe we are still a club that most people would list in their top 20.

We can have lots of discussions about whether Keane is making progress and how much genuine harm JM did to this club - but one point surely cannot be argued with (excluding the obvious scummer windup merchants on this site).

Ipswich have not had a top Centre Half since Terry Butcher and have not had a half-decent one since Titus. McAuley is unreliable and his mistakes are his only consistent feature. As my son tells me, it is true that you can get away with an average defence in the Championship if you have top forwards (the BFJ philosophy) but we don't even have an average defence and certainly not top forwards. Our priority has to be a CH - we would have won last night with that and probably drawn with Boro.

Get the central defense sorted then worry about converting the many chances we are making.
