I for one would like to thank Mick and Terry for their efforts.
When they came in they brought a group of players together and for the first time in a long time formed a team, and once that were not loanees..
That said, along with my son we gave up our season tickets due to the drose being paid.
We move on, here's looking forward to a new manager arriving and making things happen - heres to new era at Portman Road, long over due.
Take your time Mr Evans, get the right person, provide them the right tools to get the job done and lets collectively move this forward.
Thank you Mick and Terry once again..

Missed opportunity this one...
Went to see this young lad play at the shots towards the end of the season instead of the drose at PR, and he is everything that made ITFC that it was in the good old days.
He wasn't afraid to run at players, did some great passes and had a go / took chances.
I'm sure it was a case of "I don't like him" from MM and "I can't see me playing under him in that system." from KB.

Went along to see this young man play. Was involved in everything and certainly one for the future. They play fluent attacking football as a team and it was refreshing to watch.
He made chances throughout the game and never feared playing the ball on the deck.
As a team they all seem to get on and played for each other. The shots have certainly done well with "benny" and he plays well with Mensah who has just signed for another season with them.

So, to summerise. We have sh!t season and we reward our loyal season ticket holders with the £10 youg members with a £40 hike because.. and our loyal season tickets holder and support home and away with 1.5% hike, again because.. Only to watch most probably if not the same, a lot worse pile of dross we have this season..
Tell me, have I missed something here? My lad and I haven't been to at least 6 games this season because it's that bad and the business plan says "I know, lets increase the prices" when we cannot fill the stadium....
Look at Huddersfield, £15 per game/head and it's full..
I'm sorry Mr Evans, a step to far you have just lost a junior who you are wanting to attract, and someone who has followed ITFC abroad... THANKS..
As I have said many time before, 10th may we will get the "by mutual consent line" I fear. Marcus Evans is the issue here not MM..

Said all along during the last transfer window we will not purchase anybody because there is another plan a foot. Being let down gently here, and come the 10th May I still believe we will get the by mutual consent line..
We are in need of a young manager who wants to build a team with the backing of an owner. As is being proven, you need to spend money to get out of this division something our owner will not do to extent required - this point was proven in the Jan window this season and two seasons ago when we were so close. For me I would of gone out and shown some intent perhaps with 10 million two seasons ago in Jan whilst sitting in 6th position.
Whilst MM built a team four years ago (with his hands tied behind his back) for the first time in years and I thank him for that we are just not on it at all. When you look at the likes of Huddersfield, Sheffield Weds - both of whom have spent money to get to where they are in the table and also respected the fans view in terms of pricing to watch games.
If we were to decrease ticket prices to £15 (as Huddersfield) surely PR gets packed out each week and PR would be seen by other clubs as a proper fortress and feared by the visitors all round. Bums on seats then want to spend in the fanzone, planet blue and on the concourses..?
Evans is the issue here. Invested to much of his own money, will not get this back and we are just paddling in ever decreasing circles... |

Norwich City has apologised to fans for the ticket prices to watch the FA Cup tie at home to Southampton.
Many supporters were unhappy with the £25 fee. The match finished 2-2 with just over 12,000 people in attendance.
City have offered free coach travel to the replay on the South Coast, which takes place next Wednesday.
Could never see something like that coming out of ITFC currently, bearing in mind those fans that get stung £30 + for a game.

Didn't go yesterday and really cannot find the energy to go Saturday. Full credit to Lincoln for taking the game to them showing how the ball should be played... on the deck, attack from the back and pass consistently across the pitch..
We won't sign anybody this transfer, will bob along at 18th for the remainder of the season and come the 10th May we will get the "by mutual consent line."
But what we all know is this club needs to change from the top down, but that will not happen because Mr Evans will not get any return on that he has invested.. Rock and hard place...
