By the sound of it, Frank Sinclair would fit in just right at Bury Town, the king of own goals! |
| News Comment | McCarthy: New Additions Closer at 18:29:49
I saw Byrne from Swindon play in a couple of games on TV towards the back end of the season. Pacey, not only good at going forward but sound defensively aswell. A bit of money should also be on its way from the Wickham deal should it go through I would think.... |
| News Comment | Town Announce 2015/16 Squad Numbers at 16:19:30
Squad numbers mean absolutely nothing these days.... For example how many first choice keepers do you see having number one? I've lost count the number of times I've watched a game in TV with hardly anyone wearing 1 to 11! |

Definitely need that creativity in midfield, but concerned about fitness issues for Williams. Think Fraser is a top signing on loan. An out and out right back, and a decent goalkeeper as I'm not quite won over by either Bart or gerkin. |
| News Comment | Notes for the New Season - Part Five: Birmingham, Wolves and Milton Keynes at 14:58:06
I think MK will be the suprise team of the season. Not quite to the extent of Bournemouth, but in an around the top 10 I think. as for Wolves, I think they will be around the same as last year, but as for Birmingham, I agree with their fans that say they will struggle a bit more. |
| News Comment | Keane: No 12th Man at Portman Road at 09:18:10
I would have to partly agree with Keane here. Even as low as sunday league level, you tell your players if go 2,3 behind, dont let the heads drop or you dont have any chance of getting back into the game. Even though i know it is very frustrating when things dont go to plan as a supporter, the best way of getting things back on track is getting behind the players. Imagine how you would have felt on that pitch saturday with the supporters cheering the other team. Last season we struggled, this season there is improvement, and we cant be top of the league with a click of the fingers. In all fairness i dont even think we are ready for the premiership, the young players are too inexperienced and going up too early could do more damage in the long run than good (just ask norwich, after going up they had two years of struggle before drop to the third tier). Lets actually get behind the players, and i can guarantee performances and results will pick up if the fans are behind the players! I dont agree with some of the things Keane says, but this is definately one of the things i do. |
