| News Comment | Dyer: Players Need Fans’ Support Not Protests at 02:20:47
As gently as he possibly can, Kieron is explaining why the players must hate some of the Town fans. and yet, blinded by their inflated sense of entitlement and by downright ignorance, these replies show that some still will not listen. It is so disappointing. You really don't have to go far to find other former players who share these views, and basically have contempt for the fans. |

Haha. Yes, Lyall was hateful towards Dave. 'There's a stench about' was a typical training ground comment. Stench = rhyming slang for Judy Dench, hence 'Judy'. Not nice, and Dave was horribly uncomfortable with it all. Poor man. I think Lyall also may have threatened to have him run over!!! You might also like to ask him the lengths he went to in order to get Eric Gates to settle his card-game debts. I could say more, but that's more than enough! A top man is Dave. |

You miss the point. Instead of realising an opportunity to build a bond with young fans, is is cynical and exploitative, and it illustrates clearly how the club regards its fans. None of the parents paying £255 will warm to the club as a result. Enough is enough. They will get no more from me. |

Back to Taylor. Everyone, it seems, has failed to understand Mick's coded comments. When he talks about 'faith and trust' he is saying that Taylor told him that he was fit to play, and that when he got on the pitch he clearly wasn't. We know Taylor is a bit of a hideous Rooney-esque character, and this is just another reminder to him that you don't lie to Mick. |

Will be interesting to see if we can contain Wes Burns this time. He is only a kid but a real predator with pace and balance. Someone bigger than BC will come in for him very soon. He scores goals for fun. |

Very lucid ebitfc. Do you not realise that Chopra and JET, along with a few others, have played their selfish games while PJ tore his hair out trying to save his job? No sympathy. |

Fantastic comments from Mick. He's too long in the tooth to allow wasters to jerk him around. He might get 6 good months out of Chopra, but who really cares. The sooner Chopra is gone, the better. Chopra has knocked on his door with his little prepared speech, and has been told that the only way into the team is on merit, not on past achievements. Chopra may have thought he was being smart, but now he knows he is not smart enough. Mick has seen it all before from players with far more newt week the ears than Chopra. As for JET, who will take him if he fails here? Arsene has tol anyone who asks that he has an attitude problem. No hiding ace for JET. |

Mick may take a game or two to assess what he's got, but I think it is far more likely that he will gamble on Mohsni up front with Chopra today. If those two gel in the way they should, it will be a massive bonus, and he will know all about both players. 1-1 draw. Mohsni scoring first. Win at Palace. |

Beautifully crafted blog. The dichotomy that puzzles me is that Liverpudlians are generally the most streetwise people around, and yet PJ has recruited a team populated with weak characters and wasters. Is he so nice that he has failed to see the bad in others? |

In an autobiography Holloway has stated that he has a unique admiration for and fondness of ITFC, arising from the way Mr Sheepshanks treated him when he applied once before. All things being equal, he would regard it as a dream job. No one knows if he still holds these views, but it is reasonable to assume he does. Which merely leaves the question of whether he meets Evans' selection criteria, or if he has been filtered out by the process. Intuitively, I feel that Clegg, with his Eton background, would not fancy Ollie for the top job. |
